Previous sailing on NCL traveled exclusively on NCL for decades . This was last terrible
Cut out cabin service and had no working toilet for hours. Reservations for speciality dining impossible to get. Lines to speak with anyone at desk long. Entertainment fair. The staff is wonderful but corporate has made so many cuts in past perks and buffet choices that it’s not the NCL I traveled for ...

Day one, check in there was no greeter when entering terminal. We had to figure out on our own that the burly guy loading luggage onto carts was for our cruise. No signs anywhere. We had to ask if this was for our cruise. We gave him our luggage. They did not weigh our luggage so the 50lb limit was not checked. Entered terminal and followed greeters that were inside. Check in was fine and quick. ...
Wished to see Nova Scotia and NewFoundland. Cabin was very nice except first night we had sewer gases come up in our bathroom. Guest services gave us a difficult time accommodating us to get a new room. They stated they were and are always 100% booked. The most dissatisfing part of the cruise how was the food. The complimentary dining rooms food was ordinary, tasteless and often just tasted ...
We picked this cruise as it was sold as 8 ports of call with only 2 days at sea, and it ended up being virtually the opposite - 7 days at sea. Rather than stay in port along the St. Lawrence, the Captain opted to go into the Atlantic and outrun Hurricane Lee. His actions appeared to be in the sole interest of getting the ship back to Balitmore to pick up the next 2,000 guests versus prioritizing ...
My recent Norwegian cruise to New England and Canada left me with mixed feelings and a deep sense of disappointment. While the picturesque destinations were undoubtedly beautiful, the overall experience was marred by poor customer service and signs of cost-cutting measures throughout the cruise.
Canceled Ports of Call:
The first major setback of our cruise was the unexpected cancellation of ...
I have to echo most of what Thompsonhooisers shared in their review. There was a large Irish folk group, Joannie Madden, which reserved most of the public spaces, therefore closing access to any other passenger. This included many of the bars and the premium spaces on the Waterfront at sunset. Had we been made aware by NCL in advance, we would have changed to a different cruise. There were ...
We were on the sailing from NYC to Halifax, St John’s, Portland and Bar Harbors. Unbeknown to us there was an Irish Folk Music Festival group on our cruise. It ruined the trip. Many of the venues were closed and night and throughout the day to accommodate the group. Venues that we would have liked to use but were not allowed to. While the majority of the people that we met in the Irish Group ...
We had a horrible experience with the service and the scams they run to get you to pay extra for everything. From the pool being shut down for 3 days, the rock wall not opening at all the entire week, the 2 hours to tender from bar harbor back to the boat because they didn't have enough tenders running, the arcade package scam, the extra charges they add to your bill for the spa, the room service ...
Originally chose it to cruise Maine. Felt the cruise line took that away from us. Food was equivalent to low budget restaurants. Felt once they had our money that they no longer cared about our comfort or happiness. My opinion is that it is a low budget cruise line with a higher end price. On our way to this vacation I read a list of the top ten cruise lines and Norwegian did not make this list. I ...
