We have been on the Dawn multiple times over the years and despite her age, it is still an excellent ship on which to cruise. We've tried larger ships but the crowds and lines are off-putting when you took a cruise vacation for the relaxation.
The Dawn is the perfect size, large enough to find quiet out of the way spots but small enough that you are not sharing every meal and theater show with ...
Overall a very good cruise to Bermuda, For frequent NCL passengers a few changes. Embarkation was a breeze, the only bottleneck was security and the scanners. We arrived curbside at the pier at Noon and 20 minutes later ordered lunch in the dining room. We had late dinner reservations the entire cruise 9PM and the specialty restaurants were all still fairly busy but winding down. It appears the ...
If you have sailed the other cruise lines, you really have not sailed until you sail Norwegian Freestyle!
Rooms - Fantastic so comfortable and very clean. Room sturits so friendly.
Food - Unbeliveabel, eat when you want anywhere you want and what a variety.
Crew - Treat you as if you own the ship. They are there to help with anything you need.
Entertainment - Something going on all ...
We’ve always had an amazing time. Crew is wonderful. Even after 3 years since we were on this ship to Bermuda, a bartender remembered my husband on site at Topsiders when we got onboard. This has occurred over the last 20 years. (We remembered her as well but she sees a lot of passengers).
You do feel very well taken care of regardless of your socioeconomic level and stateroom.
Great ...
Have done this cruise a few times and I like docking for 3 days in Bermuda. No flying involved which is a plus when vacationing with small children.. All the staff were amazing and so wonderful with the grand kids. Ship was always clean. We had inside cabins and was on deck 5. There was a lot of noise upstairs late at night and early (430A) in the morning. After the 2nd night I complained ...
If this were a cheap cruise I would have given this boat 3 stars… But since Norwegian cruise prides themselves on being a luxury cruise line my expectations were quite high. One of my biggest complaints with this ship ( this is my first time sailing with this line) is the customer service. There were several instances where a refund was necessary, and The customer service in both situations was ...
Avoid Norwegian Escape, here is why
*Long lines at check in even though we were high up in latitude class. It promised us priority boarding, but that's a joke. We were herded in with everyone else.
*Forget getting a chair by the pool. People put their towels on them at 7 AM and then never use them. Cruise line says they will remove towels after one hour, but never did.
*Forget about ...
The Escape is beautiful and a destination in itself. Embarkation was painless and we were on the ship within 20 minutes. Had a nice lunch at Taste and then found our cabin and unpacked. Our mini suite was spacious with lots of storage and a great bathroom. The cabin steward did a great job, the cabin was cleaned every morning and the turn down service with towel animals was really appreciated. The ...
My son had a destination wedding in Bermuda which was awesome! At this time, this was the ship going on the 7 day cruise to Bermuda, we normally sail Royal Caribbean. So this was our first time on Norwegian. So we loved being in Bermuda for 3 days, the seas were perfect and in general the cruise was fine.
Here were the negatives for me:
Pool Area - Disaster, way too small for all those ...
We were on the same itinerary on the Breakaway 5 year ago and loved it. Guest services has gone way down, I-Concierge service was a joke, Balcony cabins were barely big enough for 2 people, and since you pay a "discretionary service charge", the wait staff doesn't care whether you're happy and well taken care like they do on ships were you actually tip based on service. And there is nothing ...
