This was the worst cruise EVER. The only good thing was we had an awesome Cabin Steward.

EMBARKMENT-- 4 hours in line. Ship was 3 hours late because of storm. They knew about storm night before but didn't call or email us. Elderly people crying in line as their legs were giving out and were not even offered a chair.

Charter cruise/music experience on a cruise.
I've sailed on many ships to many locations. While the charter piece of this cruise was extremely well done, NCL was horrible as a provider of the sailing experience. Sailed on the The Gem. Again, I realize this was a charter and an old smaller ship so my comments take that into consideration.

We were sailing out if NYC parked the car in the terminal lot at noon when we had a scheduled appointment..and had to walk a city block to be Covid tested ( 2 tests) in another terminal...It took over 4 hours in the hot terminal waiting in line after line. ! Let me first say, we love to cruise! This was the first cruise we scheduled after COVID. We chose this ship and this itinerary because we didn't want to fly and we could drive to NYC. We have also sailed on this ship twice before and we loved the entertainment. We also believed that we would be safe since EVERYONE had to be vaccinated and test negative for COVID prior to boarding.
