This was our second cruise from NYC on the Breakaway to Bermuda - the first being in 2013. We found the ship's appearance and maintenance to be as we remembered which speaks highly of the crew who work behind the scenes. I read several reviews prior to booking my cruise on NCL Breakaway. Needless to say, I had a great time. We experienced a minor issue like the TV in the room not working, but one phone call to guest services resolved that issue. For the most part the crew were very attentive and entertaining. This was my 2nd cruise on The Breakaway and I chose it for it's convenient home port and itinerary. It is a very large ship and can hold over 4,000 passengers, but NCL and the port of Manhattan are very well versed in how to embark and disembark a huge amount of people over a short period of time. This was our first voyage on the Breakaway after doing the same cruise on the Dawn. For us, we preferred the Dawn.

Recently sailed on the NCL Breakaway (my third cruise with NCL). Have to say overall,very good cruise. Boarding the ship was relatively smooth and was ahead of schedule. Lots to do. Specialty restaurants were great! We especially loved the Brazillian BBQ Moderno and Ocean Blue. We loved Burn the Floor and Four Seasons tribute and Howling at the Moon Dueling Pianos. The ship and cruise was very nice had a blast. But I will list the pros and cons.
Pros:
Nice clean ship overall, friendly and helpful staff.
Great set up with the buffet stations with a 360 setup and many same stations no lines Got the drink package free, just paid gratuities of $99 up front. (Worked out great)
