Taste - main dining area day 2: My scrambled eggs and cheese were cold and they forgot my toast. Oddly they brought a gravy boat of shredded cheese rather than cooking it in my scrambled eggs. Manager, Moises, sent some wine and sweet treats to our room to apologize. Very classy and we appreciated it.

We like going to Bermuda and since we have never been on the Escape we decided to book this cruise. The stewards were very friendly and kept our cabin clean and well stocked. The Cruise Director and his staff kept us busy with all their shows and they were very entertaining. The NCL Ship- Escape is very well maintained and many really nice areas to explore on this ship. Everything on this ship was clean. The staff was right on top of picking up dishes and empty glasses. The thought is was very clean. I traveled to Bermuda which I loved!

1st time on a cruise was an overall positive experience. The staff on the Norwegian Dawn was terrific! Everyone was helpful, friendly and incredibly hard working.

Overall the cruise was really fun. There is so much to do at all times of the day. The ship is really clean. Some things to note:

Embarking was easy but the lines around 11:45 am were very long. Try to book your shows and specialty dining 90 days prior to sailing. We took the Breakaway 4 years ago and enjoyed it so we opted for the new Escape. We love Bermuda and the fact that the ship docks there for 2.5 days, so no stress island jumping day to day and rushing to return to the ship in time. Also, we live near Boston so we just drive to NYC. No flying involved.
