This was the 7 night cruise from NYC to Bermuda. We were on the ship from Aug. 23, to Aug. 30, 2009. One of the nice things about being on this ship was most of the people on the ship were from the New York area. They were nice and friendly. We arrived at Pier 88 at 11 am. My sister and I went on this cruise together and left the Hubbys at home. We shared a BA aft balcony 10230.

I sailed on the Dawn for the 4th time this past August and as usual had a wonderful time. I did read many of the bad reviews and as I used to be a cruise agent I feel a lot of the negative reviews stem from the passengers maybe not having the right expectations. Booking with an agent is the best way to ensure you know what you are getting.

I have to start this review by saying that the Dawn crew was great. They were constantly cleaning and very, very friendly. I enjoyed interacting with them as much as possible.
Getting on the ship was a breeze, it took all of about 20 minutes. We were a party of 12 (4 cabins) and after getting our key cards I was in the bathroom and they were boarding already!!

Embarkation: We drove from upstate NY to Boston. The port was easy to get to. Convenient parking. Police and NCL people have everything working smoothly.
