We chose this cruise because, for us, no fly and we were able to book at late date. Embarkation was seemless, almost too quick and easy. We had to wait 3 hours before stateroom was ready and eating venues were jammed. But once settled in, the sail away past the Statue of Liberty was magnificent on a clear, crisp day. I chose this cruise based on port. I traveled by bus from the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania. The transportation I arranged was with Trans Bridge Bus line. It was effortless to and from the pier. We were blown away as to how much Norwegian appreciates military passengers (active, Vets and retirees). They had a private cocktail party in Syd Norman's. Solo traveler...I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Partially blocked oceanview cabin was a delight...larger than cabins on newer ships. Stewards were awesome as were all staff.
