We chose this cruise because of its destination, Bermuda. Two days prior to the cruise departure date we were notified that due to the predicted hurricane Florence the route would be changed to dock at Port Canaveral, the NCL beach island in the Bahamas, and at Nassau. To avoid Florence we cruised to cape Canaveral and GSC instead of Bermuda. Captain Giovanni did a remarkable job keeping us safe! He totally avoided rough seas. Each day was beautiful in the 80's and very calm seas. We missed nassau to give us 3 days to return. But as they said, "the ship is the destination". And it certainly was.

We picked this cruise because our first one to Bermuda was mostly rained on. So we tried again........and will have to try again some time due to the itenerary change.
We only got off the ship once: at Port Caneveral. I was able to cross one off the bucket list: a visit to Port Canaveral. You really need 2 days there to be able to see the whole place.

Escape 9/9/2018 - This cruise was originally scheduled to sail to Bermuda but changed to NYC to Nassau due to Hurricane Florence. We departed from NYC a little early on a cloudy rainy day. My family and I went on a 7 day cruise to no where. it was my Mom's and brother's first cruise and how disappointing it was for them on their first cruise to see nothing but a ship for 7 days.
