This ship is old and very tired. From a casino with inadequate ventilation the forward staircase from the sixth floor up reeked of smoke. First and last time in a Forward Facing Suite. They don’t tell you at booking but you can not access your balcony while at sea, and on a 7 day Bermuda cruise you only have on port of call. We are a married couple in our early 60's. This was our 13th cruise - 4 on Carnival, 4 on Royal Caribbean, 5 on NCL. I booked this cruise 8 days before (perk of being recently retired!) and got a fairly decent price. We booked a balcony guarantee and was assigned cabin 9660 (Cat BA) within a few days.

The Norwegian Dawn is a Small ship with below-average service, entertainment, and food. For instance, the main show, called Elements, looks like it was put together by a well-funded high school.
