Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

Had an absolute ball on our first cruise! The entertainment on board was amazing especially Priscilla and the beetles tribute band. Lots to choose from food wise. Dining in the Manhattan restaurant was a real treat. Raul our house keeper always did a great job supplying us with extra coffee and milk! Room was 8077 balcony. Plenty of storage. Did our own tours at the ports for 1/3 of on board ...

We chose this cruise as I wanted to see these ports. I love Italy! Overall it was a great trip with my partner and 2 friends. We brought first time cruisers and they must have enjoyed it as they booked a future cruise! Pros - really liked the Epic (beside the inside cabin). She is a nice ship and the pool deck is very large. It is a bit strange how they have the sun loungers but the pool ...

Another great trip with the Epic, first time as a solo guest in the studios. Studios are great, small but everything you need for a single guest. Staff was friendly and going the extra mile, as always nothing to complain about the staff on Norwegian. Food very good, seems to have even improved since my last cruise with more options in the main dining rooms and new specialty options. Buffet very ...

This was our family's (ages 51, 51, 21, and 18) fifth and favorite cruise. Previously we had only cruised in the Caribbean and had been looking into a European cruise for a while. We sailed on the Norwegian Dawn out of Tampa in 2011 and decided to try Norwegian again and were not disappointed. Embarkation was extremely smooth. Almost no wait, very attentive and helpful staff, and a clean and ...

Nickle and Diming, Poor Layout, and Overburdened Staff = Disappointment

My wife and I booked this cruise about 100 days out for our first year anniversary. We're from the U.S. and previously took the Western Caribbean cruise on the NCL Dawn in 2015. Despite being a much older, smaller ship, with a less attractive itinerary, we much preferred the Dawn to the Epic. Here's a list of pros and cons for the Epic: PROs: 1) Entertainment: "Priscilla, Queen of the ...

We just returned from our western Mediterranean cruise on Norwegian Epic. This cruise was fantastic. The staff were superb. We had a balcony room which was always clean. Eduardo our steward was great. He was friendly and always had a hello or smile for us when we saw him. The food was very good. We had the specialty dining package and ate at Cagneys twice and once at Moderno. We also ate ...

I have cruised Norwegian before and have always been pleased. Food, service, facilities and cabin have been fine. This time I was disappointed in the excursion to Pompeii that I booked through Norwegian; it was not as expected. The price did not include admission price (wasn't specified). While other tour guides went to tour window and paid for tickets and distributed them to their guests, our ...

This cruise was a college graduation gift for our daughter, selected for its editerranean itinerary. I was disappointed with the cabin because of the odd bathroom situation on the NCL Epic. We had our daughter and her friend with us and the sliding glass bathroom doors offered no privacy at all. Don't understand why they would have a bathroom without a real door on it! Did enjoy having a ...

Experiences on a mega ship!

As per all my cruises I chose this ship for the itinerary. To be honest I would not normally choose a ship of this size. The down side is when you have to use the tenders. Even with a tender ticket it took hours to get to shore. We had not booked a private tour so it was not critical but we knew of others who did. I found the ship's excursions to be very expensive especially when you are ...
