Pleasent B2B cruise on the Med

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

Cruised B2B on June / July in Studio cabin. Have cruised before on MSC, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. This was my first cruise on NCL. Overall ship is very nice. From outside it is not so nice looking due to shape but all venues are clean and modern. Studio cabin was better than I expected. Thanks to clever design there is plenty of storage space in the cabin. Worked perfectly for ...

Convenient Way to Sample the Mediterranean

This was my second NCL cruise and seventh overall. As with my previous NCL cruise, there was good value for the money but not the best cruise line I have ever sailed. I sailed with my boyfriend, no kids. Getting on and off the ship was easy. There were many many agents for embarkation, and we elected to handle our own luggage and walk off the ship. We spent time before and after in Barcelona, ...

This was our first cruise and we chose it mainly for the itinerary. Once aboard we were enthralled. We loved our stateroom. Everything we needed was there. Our housekeeper Victor was excellent and looked after us really well. The food was excellent. There was an amazing choice in the buffet restaurant. The service, food and menus were also excellent in the a la cartel restaurants. We found the ...

Fabulous 50th Birthday Celebration

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

I celebrated my 50th birthday in Barcelona two days before we boarded!! It was a birthday trip with friends since my husband didn't want to do Europe...lucky for me he didn't mind me going!! We walked right on the boat into our room. I am not sure why everyone tries to get on so early when there is so much to explore. We got there about 3:30 and there were no lines and we were in our room in ...

Last time with Norwegian unless they are the only one with itinerary wanted!

We went with Norwegian Spirit because of the itinerary: 10 ports in 12 days giving us the chance to visit Barcelona, Pisa, Florence, Rome, Pompeii, Athens, and Venice! With regard to the itinerary; we were NOT disappointed; we even loved the lesser ports in France, Montenegro and Croatia (although this was our least favorite). Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly at each port, the ...

NCL Spirit: First Time Cruisers Review

This was our first cruise and we chose NCL for the freestyle dining and the good recommendations from other cruisers. Cruise critic was an invaluable source of information and the roll call for our cruise enabled me to communicate with other cruisers for tips and advice. I booked some excursions privately and again my choice was based on the excellent reviews I had read online. We had an ...

Barcelona to Venice

I booked this cruise for the itinerary. I took the 12 night Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Venice. You are hardly on the ship for this cruise. The ship is older and more intimate. However, there are a variety of bars to keep you busy. The Windows dining room is nicer than the Gardens. They have the same menu. There are two shows I would recommend: the acrobatic one and ...

Everything was almost perfect except our room (11138). The room was located 2 level below basketball court and you could hear the noise even late at night. Other than our room which was a balcony room everything else was great. The food was very good the personnel or crew outstanding. The ship although was not new it was clean. We were travelling with a group of 12 and we all agreed that the level ...

Disappointed

Family Vacation. This ship is too big. If you have a midship cabin you have to walk to bow or stern to get to elevators no midship elevators. The seperate shower, toilet, sink is not fun, I like all three in a bathroom. Service was not wonderful, can not hold a candle to Celebrity. They nickel and time, bowling $7 per game (not that I bowled), ice bar $20 pp, main dining room has items that ...

Not for me

We have completed over 15 cruises, 3 of them previously with NCL. We chose this ship as we were travelling with family who had not cruised before and it had attractions for everybody. Embarkation was very speedy in Barcelona and our luggage was delivered only a couple of hours later. As others have commented, the cabins are awful, they are extremely cramped ( and we had one of more expensive ...
