Hard to Go Wrong on a Mediterranean Cruise

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

OVERALL B We had a good cruise on a cruise line we had been reluctant to try because of its nickle and diming rep . Some of that was evident and the last minute change of policy concerning carry-on liquids didn't help . However the level of the food and entertainment as well as a great itinerary led to a fine cruise . We would have had a good time visiting these ports regardless of the ship ...

Disappointing

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

This ship should be renamed ripoff. The Epic took every available opportunity to extract as much money as possible out of every situation . After paying £2,400 for this cruise for 2 people I had to pay £25 per day for our cabin to have bed made and towels changed totalling £175 per week, this is compulsory. £14.50 for small glass of wine 18 percent is service charge plus tax, as was a packet of ...

A very good trip with our family that included two grandkids

I was with my grandkids and I thought this would be a good idea to take the Epic with the Splash, and other games for kids,. My family were particularly happy to see that this ship and cruise had things for young kids. The Splash was a hit with my grandson. The swimming pool was also a nice place for them and all of us ! the Beatles show was good ( 6 out of 10 ), but a young group with a ...

Amazing European Adventure.... Spoiled in The Haven

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

We decided on Norwegian for our European Adventure a little over a year before our trip and were never disappointed. The website was easy to navigate prior to the trip and Norwegian sent reminders for all the important dates we needed to remember in terms of booking and payments. But the best yet was to receive an email a few weeks before our trip with an offer to upgrade to The Haven. ...

My wife and i decided on this cruise for my 50th birthday. embarkation was quite easy and had been made aware before hand our suit cases would not be delivered to our room for a few hours so had a carry on bag with suitable cloths for the first day so was not an issue. the staff were excellent at all times and were always willing to help you out. the room was spotless and the bed was very ...

WHAT WERE WE THINKING?

This ship will challenge you in so many ways. The food and entertainment on board were very good indeed and this explains the Rating overall. However, there is nothing relaxing, sophisticated nor memorable except for the congested, noisy, package holiday atmosphere that cannot be avoided. We are not cruise snobs and appreciate that our niece had a fantastic holiday in the Kids Club. But the ...

Mine and my cousins first time cruising! We flew from Birmingham to Barcelona (a city we have had the pleasure of a 3 day city break so didn't explore further, we wanted to see our Epic ship!) on Ryanair- not an ounce of turbulence and plenty of leg room!- We arrived at the airport and was kept waiting for our cruise rep who arrived after 30 minutes, we were unfortunately kept waiting a ...

They just seemed to fit our intentions with all the historic areas we visited. Our cabin steward was excellent, all the waite staff were excellent, food very well prepared and exactly what we expected, on and off very good destinations, exactly what we were seeking, detail handled very well. My wife is very interested in historical things and this cruise certainly had an abundance of these items. ...

We returned from our cruise in the Med (26 June-3Jul) on the Epic and I was epically surprised (in a good way). We travelled with our two children (7 and 10) and we all had a ball. We had spent months reading reviews on this website and were feeling a bit apprehensive about our trip based on the negative feedback that seemed to pervade a number of the reviews. I am very pleased to report that ...
