We choose this cruise because of the location that it cruised.
The ship was okay. the shore excursions were really good. The problem was with the booking. We were a group of 15. It was a nightmare trying to get NCL to correct errors on birth dates and names. Our cruise seemed about half full - perhaps a bit more - only half of the breakfast buffet at the very back of the ship was open each morning.

This was the first but not last time we went on a cruise. Very relaxing with excellent food, service and entertainment onboard. If you spend your money right (choose what is important/necessary for you) this way of traveling can give you "bang for the buck" and not be too expensive. A lot of nice international people onboard (from 40 different countries).

The staff on the ship generally were competent, the excursions well run however their front desk staff were on a couple occasions aloof and dismissive. At first glance this Itinerary couldn't be passed up; Athens, Kusadasi (Turkey), Patmos (Greece), Ashdod (Jerusalem), Haifa (Tel Aviv), Limassol (Cyprus), Santorini, Athens. The price was excellent: Oceanview $799 The opportunity to visit the Holy Land doesn't come by too often. You can always find a cruise stopping in Santorini.
