Great ship, great crew, great itinerary = excellent holiday!

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

This was our first cruise, an 11 night Eastern Mediterranean itinerary, & we booked it for a great price without knowing too much about the industry at first. Reading other reviews of the Epic on this site we were slightly worried, but we needn't have been - the ship is fantastic, & we couldn't have asked for better. Looking at the detail of others' criticisms it seems many of the issues being ...

Viva - a floating treasure!

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Viva

Ship: The Viva has the most modern design of any NCL ship we have ever cruised on, with a modern motif and artwork strewn all about the ship. Being in the Prima class, it is a new concept for NCL. Clearly NCL is upping their game to attract a clientele who will pay a little more for a more upscale experience. We’ve cruised on multiple NCL ships (large and small), but this ship is more about ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Jade

Just got back from back-to-back cruises on the Jade. For the life of me, I cannot understand the negative reviews some people write, complaining about the staff, the food, the entertainment, etc. I am guessing these are people you could not please no matter what you did. I am a Sapphire level cruise with NCL. I really enjoyed my time on the Jade. The food was excellent, both in the specialty ...

The ship was great, the passengers were not!

A group of six of us traveled to Athens for a 7 day cruise to Israel, Cyprus, Turkey other ports in Greece, and found the Norwegian Jade to be in terrific shape. It clearly showed that great care had been taken in retrofitting in 2022, and it was a nice change from other ships we have been on in years past. Four passengers in our group stayed in one of the penthouse suites, and I cannot ...

Amazing Ports of Call & A Good Value

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Jade

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip. This was my first NCL cruise (I usually prefer Princess.). I traveled solo and appreciated NCL efforts to gather solo travelers. Many of us did end up eating meals or attending entertainment together. I picked this cruise because of the 11 day trip with Ports of call including Greek Islands, Israel, Istanbul & Ephesus Turkey. I booked through Vacations to Go ...

My review of The NCL Jade and the Greek Isles July 30th to Aug 6th, 2023

My husband and I had a wonderful time on The Jade touring Greece and Turkey, and NCL made it easy and comfortable for us to do this. A little about ourselves, we have sailed NCL 7 other times before and made Platinum on this cruise. We are more about the ports of call and not the ship, but the Jade was the first time in years that we were back on a smaller ship. We were concerned about ...

We went with 12 family members and everyone had a good time. The food was good and the entertainment was excellent. No complaints about the cruise at all other than the usual line ups complaints etc. The staff were nice and we enjoyed getting to know some of the crew. Our room was an inside cabin which I wasn't excited about but it turned out to be perfect. It was quiet and we couldn't tell what ...

Holy Lands 9-Day Cruise

TLDR: Updated/clean ship with good itinerary, poor embarkation/debarkation process This was my 4th NCL cruise (11 cruises total). My family (4 of us) stayed in two obstructed Oceanview staterooms on deck 8. The ship is recently refurbished so appears pretty modern inside given it is an obviously older ship (2006). I enjoy smaller ship sizes and given we were on this cruise for the itinerary the ...

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Norwegian Jade

We had cruised with Norwegian once before and enjoyed it, but this cruise went beyond our expectations as far as staff, ship amenities and cleanliness, and ports. My wife and I splurged on a two bedroom suite and it was perfect. The main bathroom is outstanding and the size of the balcony and main living area are spacious. It comes with a butler and concierge as well as a cabin steward, and all ...
