Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Jade

We initially wanted to do the Greek Isles on our own. After researching the limited ferry schedule, this cruise itinerary was a far better alternative. We have travelled on Norwegian several times, first time on Jade. Covid protocols are a hassle. We are fully vaccinated with a booster. We did the test before left and the results were negative. We arrived on an overnight flight. We ...

I chose this itinerary from Athens to Rome because there were so many cancellations in 2021 due to COVID, but I had an inkling that this might be a "go" because Greece was one of the first countries in Europe to open to tourists due to its dependency on the tourism industry. Although we did not get to go to some of the ports that were originally planned, including Israel, I had no real ...

Brilliant Greek Islands and Cyprus cruise despite a completely new itinerary from one booked originally!

We booked the cruise about a month before directly via NCL. Booked the whole package including flights and transfers which is the best way to book in the current covid climate. Got the cruise at a really good price and the original itinerary was to start from Athens, go to Cyprus, Israel, Turkey, few Greek islands and return back to Athens. The main reason for booking the cruise was to spend 2 ...

Some Hits and Misses, but a glorious Haven!

My husband and I chose this cruise because we wanted to travel when international travel opened and wanted to hit some warmer countries. While we have tried other cruise lines, we continually come back to NCL, especially for the Haven. The pre-cruise communication was a miss as only some people were informed that we would not be going to Turkey. I found out through social media, and even then, ...

This was my first cruise but not the last. I loved it. The ship was only at appx 50% so there were plenty of staff to make sure you had everything you needed. The cabins were nice and housekeeping came twice a day. The food was AWESOME.. I ate at the restaurants both complimentary and those extra and the service as well as the food was fast serviced and well prepared. Cagneys is ...

This was our first trip to Greece. We have done other NCL cruise in the past. One of the most noticeable first thing was the Cruise was not completely full. There was probably more staff than the actual guests. Which was great! We had their personal attention all the time. Only one problem for me to not give 5-stars. We had a special dietary need requested but they failed miserably to make ...

Itinerary: Most of the main Islands in Greece or popular with tourists. Crete and Korfu were interesting new places Ship: Nice cabins, by the end of the cruise the windows were crusted and couldn't see through. They need to clean Food: Typical cruise ship food. Many items not as good as you can make at home. Example: carnitas tostada appetizer - 3 dorito chips with beans and very little ...

We had a good experience aboard the Nor. Jade. Very good shows every night (professional quality). The shows in Vegas would have cost us hundreds of dollars. The food was good in the buffet with very friendly staff (washy, washy- happy, happy). The 3 restaurants compt. were very good, especially the French restaurant which I thought would be my least favorite but was my favorite. And last but not ...

Many ports- many pleasures

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Jade

We are a retired couple seeking exciting travel destinations. The Eastern Mediterranean 12- day Jade cruise beginning in Athens was a great choice for us. The many ports of call, coupled with the October (nearly off-season) date was very attractive. Having never been in Athens before, we chose to arrive four days before sailing. This gave us time to see the Acropolis, Parthenon, the Acropolis ...
