April 1, 2018 to April 16, 2018 from Tokyo to Shanghai. First night in La Bistro first choice wine is not available, second the same. Cabin has noise and we are not able to slip. Cabin phone is not working. Change a cabin 2 times. Most of food OK, but beef and burgers are not eatable. Retired couple with 20 + cruises many different cruise lines: Second time on the Jewel. Just OK. Food all restaurants greatly improved over last Jewel cruise (2014). Garden Buffet expanded in more and better entree selections. Le Bistro still our favorite. Proper cleanliness throughout the ship - male thermal suite always maintained well.

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and all the new ports of call. We booked the 40 day from Sydney Australia to Tokyo Japan. The ports of call sounded amazing but most had to be reached by tender. Queues for tender tickets were long, some days we didn't get off the ship till lunchtime because of this, tenders were hot, cramped, smelly and dangerous at times.
