My wife and I have cruised all over the world and this was our 1st and last on NCL 1Embarkation was fast and simple. 2The room was spacious best ever for a Balcony class room. 3Room Steward was the best as usual 4Food selection was poor. The main Dining room menus were the same ALL 10 DAYS it may of had 5 main courses but the menu NEVER changed....... all the rest of the restaurants ...

Our 5th NCL cruise but the first in four years due to Covid and other stuff. OurNCL consultant encouraged us to book Prima as it was sailing when and where we wanted to go and it was brand new. We booked NCL airport transfers as we nearly missed one of our previous cruises however, we landed at 08.20 and no NCL rep. A kind rep from another company took us to "the meeting point". Still no NCL ...

Our bucket list cruise did turn out to be a "Cruise of a lifetime", but, not in the way we hoped. Arrived 3 days early in Amsterdam and had a wonderful time exploring that city. Embarkation was a breeze and we were delighted with the cabin (11134), initially. Evenings were interrupted by folks playing basketball dspite the sign stating activities were to end at 5 PM. So easy to fix, just put ...

Sad ending

Sad to say that it was the problematic PEARL. Rumors of previous problems; and true to form this boat died and we were left stranded on our own about 2/3 thru cruise. Attempts to continue along the Med coastline was cancelled.. This was a 2week cruise covering a lot of ports, thus the reason to book it. Food was very good. Specialty options are well worth the extra money and highly ...

Great Itinerary, mediocre ship, Latitudes reward platinum level nothing special

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Pearl

Chose this cruise because of the itinerary and all the stops it had to offer. The experiences in these wonderful ports were almost ruined because of the poor customer service provided by this ship. A special mention however goes to our cabin steward, Victor, who took great care of us and Reuben's staff at the Java Café who tended exceptionally well to our every drinking need! The embarkation ...

First experience with NCL. Had a bad experience with customer service between booking and sailing. As a first-timer I would have expected more from a company in the service industry to try and build rapport to make me a repeat customer, but that will not happen. There was a tremendous price drop with nothing to make up for it. Embarkation was frustrating because the key cards they issued in the ...

Did the Norwegian Pearl "float my boat"?

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Pearl

Have previously sailed on the Norwegian Spirit. In comparison I found the Pearl was disappointing in a number of areas. Daily information sheets were great but activities on offer less so. The main restaurant dining was a veritable nightmare with difficulty in finding seats. Overspill areas meant having to carry hot food some distance from where it was served. Food selection was uninspiring. Salad ...

We recently returned from a cruise on Norwegian Pearl, May 11 - 25, 2019 from Amsterdam to Scotland, Norway, Northern Ireland, Le Havre France, Tilbury England and Zeebrugge and returning to Amsterdam. This was our 7th cruise on NCL. We choose it for the itinerary. I had been wondering why Norwegian has been slipping so much in cruise line reviews and was curious to see if there have been ...
