My sister in law and I have been planning a cruise to Alaska for about two years now since I live in Seattle, and she’s in California, and her, and her husband ate able to just fly up to visit, then we can hop onboard with no problem. As a former Disney cast member I was thinking maybe Disney Cruise. As a former AAA travel agent that promoted Holland America Seahawks cruise, and I loved the ...

This was the worst cruise by far. I had high hopes though, as my first cruise was with Norwegian, which has been the bar in which I measure all cruises; it was very fantastic. This cruise was seemingly doomed from the get go. Getting on the ship was a pain, the porters were not helpful, the food was terrible, the wait staff was hit and miss, the stateroom was way too small for three people, the ...

Incredible ship that is both new and very stylish. Passengers aboard the vessel seemed very happy with their selection. When comparing ships to other Alaskan cruisers NCL Bliss customers seemed to be happier with their selection. Price point was also very reasonable when compared to other ships sailing Alaska. Food seemed to better than on most NCL vessels. The author of this review stayed in ...

Our daughter, who is blind and has a Seeing Eye dog, completed her doctorate in Law and Advocacy in June and this trip was her “reward”. We had a balcony cabn guaranty and was upgraded to a mid-ship balcony. With taxes, fees, promotions and on board credits we paid $700 apiece for the 7 day trip up the inside passage of Alaska with stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria BC. The Bliss ...

I liked their website, they were nice to deal with. The ship is new and beautiful. The specialty restaurants excellent, and the Mandara spa outstanding. The room was very nice, and the rain shower and jets were great. Had a wonderful time. Very smooth waters for the whole trip. Loved Coco's for crepes and cappachino. Only compaint is the Internet did not work most of the time. Took the ships ...

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Norwegian Jewel

The itinerary was great! This was a repositioning cruise, and we thought was a great cruise for a great price. 19 nights sailing through Alaska, Russia, and ending in Japan. We stopped at 4 different stops in Alaska, one stop in Russia, and 4 stops in Japan. This was everything we hoped it be. Great stops with fantastic tours. And the days at sea were just as enjoyable. The ships ...

Great itinerary but at high cost!

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Norwegian Jewel

I chose this cruise due to the great itinerary, and my previous experiences with Norwegian. Unfortunately, NCL has evidently changed some of its policies to benefit itself. One would think that a single passenger would only have to pay a maximum of a 100% Single Supplement. I paid the same as 2 passengers but while they would receive 2 Free at Seas, I only received one. And the amount NCL ...

This is part 1 of a 5 cruises on the Jewel. We traveled all the way from Vancouver to Sydney via Alaska, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. There was a 2 week gap while the Jewel was in dry dock in Singapore, so there were some changes in decor. Of course, there were also crew and entertainment changes along the ...

Excellent deal! Only drawback was the embarkation process - we ended up standing in line for about 1 hour in order to check in and get our sea card, even though we were there at our assigned time. Shore excursions were very good and on time. Even the port where we were tendered were handled well and in a timely manner. We also found out that we could opt out of the automatic $14.50/person ...
