Ports not enough time and /or wrong times of day! Ketsiguin Alaska was only 3.5 hours arrived at 7AM. Nothing opens that early. Glacier Bay was disappointing as we inly saw I or two actual glaciers! The ship-- Nice ship with panaromic views of the scenery. It was enjoyable watching the whales play enjoying lunch and seeing the views. We chose this cruise because we wanted to go to Alaska. We have sailed about 5 times before but only on carnival so we were very excited. The Encore is a beautiful ship but has processing issues. You need to watch your account. We were overcharged several times for various items and had to keep getting it corrected. TIPS IF YOU GO: 1. Download the Norwegian mobile app, it's pretty much mandatory, and also convenient - allows you to msg other passengers w/o using data, has daily itinerary, etc. Only works when connected to the ship's wifi though. 2. We chose the Bliss at a last minute review because we wanted to see Alaskas inner passage. Holland did not go to Endicott Arms. We took the $299 excursion to see the Dawson Glacier and Edicott Arms. Chose this cruise as a bucket list trip. Arrived to a balcony room that was dirty - fingermarks on mirrors, glass and cabinets. Wiped out the drawers before putting clothes away.
