My traveling companions and I stayed in 2 room balcony suites at the front of the ship. The cabins were spacious and well equipped. We had excellent service from our steward and butler. My only disappointment with the ship was that it was not always easy to find areas to relax. When we were looking for areas to lounge with a drink, we often had to wander around the ship to find open spaces. ...

Firstly…service was terrible. Fake smiles, eye rolling thinking I didn’t see. Could never find a waiter by pool area. First time on Norwegian stayed in The Haven. Highly recommend staying in The Haven even though it is not adults only. The ship was very crowded. It happened to be spring break time and there were A LOT of kids. Norwegian seems to be advertising and promoting families with kids/teens. Choose your week carefully. The excursions were okay. The Epic is by far the worst ship in the Norwegian line. This cruise it was loaded down with about 4300 passengers. I was totally incapable of accommodating this number of passengers. The lines were endless and everywhere. A number of things did not work. Average wait time for a drink on the pool deck 20 minutes. Finding a chair impossible. This was the absolute worst cruise I have ever experienced. The rooms on the Epic were shabby and smelly. The food options were horrible. The staff members were rude, entertainment options were all substandard. The staff working at the Garden Cafe and horrible parents allowed their children to play in the buffet food. This was our first Norwegian Cruise. The smoking section is located in the middle of the ship next to the children’s pool, the buffet entrance, and the walkway to get around outside. Overpriced, over-crowded. Long wait for food, drinks, entertainment, elevators...most of our time felt wasted in line.
