We were in a forward facing penthouse suite, had a large balcony with two lounges, two chairs, small table. Mainly private under the overhang, fellow neighbours can look onto your balcony if they go to the end of their balcony and peek over! King sized bed, table with four chairs, small couch, plenty of storage, coffee machine that makes hot water also, tea and coffee supplied. Also had glasses, wine glasses and champagne glasses and cup & saucer supplied. No water supplied, bottles were in room for US$6 each (don’t forget your 20% gratuities on top of that!). Was given two bottles of champagne (one on first day, second on the second day), assuming one bottle was due to being in suite room, the other as we are bronze members. Also had marvellous stateroom attendant who learnt our routine quickly, never saw him in our room, it seemed like the room was made up by magic! Also had butler & concierge which we didn’t use much. Tip - if wanting a penthouse, go for level 10, rooms are bigger, they have a small bay window in the lounge area. Also our room was over the theatre so could hear rehearsals and shows quite clearly. Wasn’t a problem for us as we love music. Sorry, couldn’t figure out how to attach photos. Read Less

This was the ideal cabin for this cruise - we were directly under the bridge and had a fabulous view of the glaciers and the amazing Alaskan scenery. This cabin has a bay window, unlike the other forward facing penthouse/large balconies, because of its position under the bridge. This was great when the weather was a little cool on the balcony, or when you wanted to lay in the super comfortable bed but still see outside. A dining table, lounge and swivel tub chair (which you could pull up to the window and rest your feet on the ledge) rounded out the furnishings. The coffee machine was perfect for cuppas in bed, especially with the fresh milk that butler Henry brought for us. Canapes daily, fresh flowers and a replenished fruit bowl were also much appreciated. But the position of the suite and the balcony with two loungers, two chairs and a small table were just perfect. The Penthouse suite was very roomy. We had a full sized sofa plus a chair, king size bed, and table and chairs for 4. My only complaint would be that the bathroom had a bathtub with shower. I prefer a walk in shower since we found it a little difficult to step in the tub to take our shower. The suite has a separate dressing table which was nice for sitting down to put on my makeup or dry my hair. The balcony was very large but because we were forward, it was windy and difficult to sit outside when moving. Read Less

Cabin was a nice size although the bathroom was very small compared to other suites we have been in. The deck is a nice size and got both sun and shade because it is located right below the bridge. Location is very quiet since the suite was at the front of the ship we shared the hallway with only the other 3 suites. Bed was comfortable and coffee/tea was always kept stocked. Treats were brought every day to our suite which was nice. Read Less

Cabin 9500 was a standard size hotel room with a bigger bathroom. Cabin was at the front of the boat. The best feature of this room is the large deck. We had the best views of the glaciers, wildlife, sunsets/sunrises, etc.

Definitely worth the extra money to have the extra space in the room and the amazing forward-facing balcony - not to mention all the great perks of being in a suite!
