Up to three guests can stay in these Oceanview Staterooms. Includes two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and additional bedding that can sleep one more, as well as a picture window to enjoy the view. These staterooms are mid-ship accommodations, which means you'll have easy access to everything on board.
When you sit on the toilet and your toes touch the wall in front of you - it is a problem.
The toilet flushing system was so loud that if my spouse got up in the middle of the night and flushed it scared me half to death out of a dead sleep.
Our beds were made into one, and on one side of the bed the desk was right up against the edge of the bed - no clear passage. Wiggle squirm and get bruises that lined up with the desk edge.
Beds were hard as rocks and so were the pillows. We actually asked for 2 more comforters and tried adding those under our sheet - it was some help - but not much.
Our cabin Stewart who we never saw, was effective and if we left a note asking for something (like ice or another pillow) it was there.
The room was clean. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was extremely clean and service was awesome. From cleaning in the morning to turning back the bedding and placing an adorable towel animal on your bed with next days agenda the cabin and crew were outstanding. Bathrooms were always kept clean and linens changed daily. Read entire member review >>
It was a connecting room, but we never heard our neighbors at all. In fact, it was a quiet cabin. We did sleep with a white noise app on our phones, because that is what we do at home. Read entire member review >>
We were assigned cabin 8100, which is an ocean view cabin with an obstructive view. The cabin happen to be equipped for the disabled, which made our bathroom slightly larger than the normal ocean view cabin which was a plus. Read entire member review >>
Clean and comfortable. No problems with the size. The bathrooms are always a little small but it was clean and modern. There were lots of drawers and closet space. There was a problem with the television (bad cable) and it was missing the remote control but they fixed the problems once reported. Read entire member review >>
Pros: good sized cabin. Bathroom was great with a good size shower and a closing door on the toilet room. In the cabin there was a small desk and a table and plenty of storage in the room. Not enough hangers really in the closet.
The room was in good shape no issue with condition.
Cons: The view was not as nice as an outside ocean view on the Carnival Triumph or the Carnival Elation. The steward while doing a great job cleaning the room, seemed to be very very tired all the time and a little slow. Read entire member review >>
We had adjoining cabins 5108 and 5110. They are nice and quiet. Very little motion felt. Cabin 5110 sleeps 4, with one upper bearth. The other 3 are literally wall to wall underneath the upper bearth. A trundle bed pops up between the 2 twin beds for 3 to sleep across side by side. Read entire member review >>
Our stateroom, 5108 is the 2nd to last room aft. The pluses are there is no traffic going by with other guests, and its a quick dash to deck 4 where debarkation takes place at ports, but there is a staff room access point right across the hall. Regardless,we never had any issues with noise. The beds were firmer than I am accustom but slept well. Everything was in well working order except when I took a shower, the water would get really hot, then ice cold, then hot, cold... I am not sure if this is a normal for this is my first time on a cruise so I am sure the demand for hot water gets tricky.. ( I guess?? ) Housekeeping was fantastic. Thank you Marlin!!!! We had an ocean view on deck 5. It was alright for our needs. The desk is a little to close to the bed and I had to get around it when going to bed. Would like to see more fitted sheets as the ones they use do not stay in place. The storage was good, more than we needed. The bathroom was small but heck it is a cruise ship. All in all we were satisfied. Read entire member review >>
Deck 5, midship, didn't feel much motion of the ship although it was calm seas. The cabin was a normal cruise ship cabin but the staff cleaning it was very good. Constant supply of clean towels Read entire member review >>
We were in an oceanview cabin on deck 5. Our cabin was very nice with two twin beds, vanity area, desk area and bathroom. The closet was very large and had a shelf across the top and a pull down shelf that you could use for shoes. Between the closet and the wall was the safe with four nice deep shelves underneath it. On the other side of the closet was three large lower drawers, a good size open area for the ice bucket and glasses with two shelves above it. Then there was a small desk area with the TV above. On the other side of the room was the vanity area that had 3 small shelves up the side of the mirror, a small vanity drawer, and three more large drawers. There was a stool to sit at the vanity and do your make-up, hair or what ever. They supply a hair dryer that to my DD's surprise was very powerful. Between the beds were two small tables each with a shelf underneath. I would have liked to have had a nightstand instead with a drawer as nothing stayed on the little table due to the amount of rocking we were experiencing. The bathroom was very large. The toilet area had a sliding glass painted door just like the shower had. They were separated by a large countertop and sink that had a moveable faucet somewhat like your kitchen faucet. A large shelf was under the sink which had a wastebasket in it and there were three small shelves up the side of the mirror to put your toiletries on. The shower was exceptional with a height adjustable/handheld shower head which included massage if you like. The temperature of the water is written on the handle in Celsius. I really like the fact that even the shower enclosure was wood grain very high end. Carpet was nice and bright as well. Bed was super comfy as were the linens. Only down side to the stateroom was the window was dirty and at some point had been leaking to the point that the screws and part of the metal trim was rusted. It had been repaired and caulked but the rust was very unattractive. Overall room was excellent. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was well appointed, a bit smaller than expected, but bathroom and shower were grand. There was plenty of room to store clothes in drawers and a nice size closet. There was a safe, fridge, small TV. Read entire member review >>
