Garden Villa: When I booked the Garden Villa over a year ago, Wendy, my wife, thought I was foolish to spend that amount of money on a week cruise. After the week was over, she told me the experience of this past week was worth way more in memories than the money we spent. On Sunday, we hosted the Cruise Critic Meet and Mingle party in the Villa with more than 70 attendees. NCL did a great job in organizing and setting up the event with several officers in attendance. Our group did a gift exchange organized by SimplySuzy. After the gift exchange, 30 of us headed to the Casino for the slot pull organized by Cocruzlvrs. The casino gave us a couple of bottles of champagne and tee shirts for the highest winners. We lost 55 cents per person but almost hit the jackpot twice playing the Wheel of Fortune. A great time was had by all.On Wednesday, we celebrated the birthday for two members of our group. Florentina, Erlindo, and Alexandro decorated the living room with balloons and had a large cake waiting for us when we returned from our excursion in Belize. A couple of us, especially me, took advantage of the Jacuzzi and Steam Room that was on our patio between the master bedroom and the living room. On deck 15, above our living area was a private sun deck with chairs, a hammock, and tables. The sun worshipers in our group used this area extensively. Read Less

We had an S1 category Garden Villa #14500. I believe this is truly the cabin of all cabins throughout the cruise industry. I can not find a similar cabin on any other cruise line. It's about 2500 sq ft of indoor space. This includes a living room, dining room, wet bar, a master bedroom suite, and two additional bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. There is a powder room off the entry way as well. The private outdoor area is almost as big with it's own private full size hot tub, a steam room, out door dinning area, and a huge upstairs sundeck/viewing deck. Four big flat screen TVs, a Bose sound system, and a player grand piano. The total square footage is close to 5000. Read Less

We were in the Villa Suite 14500. It was quiet and had plenty of room for us 4. We had a great view from all of our windows. We have no complaints about our suite.

I was extremely happy with the priority everything the ship offered. We have been on several cruises and Norwegian has is down with how to treat those in their suites. From the priority embarkations and debarkation, to the private swim area, to the reserved seating at shows and dinners. We felt that we were being catered to left and right on the ship. The courtyard was great with our 2 year old since we could let him play in that or get in the hot tub without bothering anyone. Also the view from the upper deck was great along with the view form the family room overlooking the pool. The only drawback to the whole room is the color pallet/ scheme is a little too circus feeling instead of feeling classy and nice. The bar area could stand to be a little larger as we were constantly having to call of drinks. They did finally just bring a large cooler with ice, which we were totally fine with. can't get enough Diet Coke ;-) Overall very happy with the room and would do again. Read Less
