AJ’s Sloth and Monkey sanctuary. We booked this on our own in advance. Shore excursions to these places were longer and more costly. We got transportation and the animal experience for $35 pp. Lots of fun and guide was great.

Great apart from the coming and going!

We returned yesterday from this cruise on which we experienced both positive and negative issues. Positives - amazing crew, always smiling and helpful, and working so hard. Given demands and capacity, service and the food was great - varied and fresh in Garden Café, main dining rooms and especially good in Le Bistro. Cabin was kept very clean and shower room bigger than on some competing ...

The ship was great, the passengers were not!

A group of six of us traveled to Athens for a 7 day cruise to Israel, Cyprus, Turkey other ports in Greece, and found the Norwegian Jade to be in terrific shape. It clearly showed that great care had been taken in retrofitting in 2022, and it was a nice change from other ships we have been on in years past. Four passengers in our group stayed in one of the penthouse suites, and I cannot ...

Nice ports, but not a restful cruise

We chose this cruise due to the itinerary featuring ports in Israel, Turkey and Greece. We had sailed on the Norwegian Jade before and had enjoyed our previous experience. Airport Transfer We paid for the transit from the airport, due to the fact that we did not have a lot of time between the arrival of our flight and the sailing. The coach bus experience was fine, although the check in ...

The itinerary was the best thing about this cruise

I chose this cruise because of the itinerary and because we had sailed with NCL before. We left Athens and went to Rhodes, Cyprus, Santorini, Kusadasi, Istanbul, Jerusalem, Haifa(Galilee), Pathos, Mykonos, and then back to Athens. We spent 4 days in Athens before the cruise. It was blistering Texas hot while in Athens and on the cruise. We toured Athens, 105 degrees when we went up to the ...

Amazing Ports of Call & A Good Value

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip. This was my first NCL cruise (I usually prefer Princess.). I traveled solo and appreciated NCL efforts to gather solo travelers. Many of us did end up eating meals or attending entertainment together. I picked this cruise because of the 11 day trip with Ports of call including Greek Islands, Israel, Istanbul & Ephesus Turkey. I booked through Vacations to Go ...

It was a group of elderly going together on an unbelievable experience because we wanted to get baptized in the Jordan River, but it turned out to be really bad. At first we got to the cruise without our luggage’s because United Airlines misplaced all our luggage’s and we got them four (4) days after sailing (this wasn’t the cruise fault, but for other stuff I need to let you know about this), Our ...

My husband and I always wanted to visit Greece and Israel and what a perfect way to see them. Pros-hospitality was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Food was delish especially Cagney Steak House and Jasmine Garden Asian Restaurant. Night life Entertainment was very good from listening to Rami to Nightlife Duos…Fantabulous!!! Drinks were great especially when they were made by James over at the ...

6x cruiser, 1st NCL - worst cruise ever

Destinations offered and time that fit with my husbands work schedule. We have usually sailed with Royal but it was not available for our schedule. We had no idea that a cruise could be so bad. The food was horrible. We started ordering based on what we thought would disappoint us the least. Left our steak on our plate the first three times then stopped ordering all beef. Everything was ...

We went with 12 family members and everyone had a good time. The food was good and the entertainment was excellent. No complaints about the cruise at all other than the usual line ups complaints etc. The staff were nice and we enjoyed getting to know some of the crew. Our room was an inside cabin which I wasn't excited about but it turned out to be perfect. It was quiet and we couldn't tell what ...

Incredible Itinerary but Mobility Challenges

I travelled with my husband and 18 year old daughter. We chose this cruise for its amazing itinerary, particularly for the stops in Israel which is a destination we have always wanted to visit. Embarkation Embarkation in Piraeus (Athens) was very slow. We had long waits in three different rooms before we were able to board the ship. The Ship The ship is older and does not have all of ...
