Obstructed Oceanview (OX) Cabin Reviews

Disappointing Vacation : Cabin 8586
Unfortunately, there is not a cabin category of "Very Obstructed Oceanview." Cabin was adequate size and bed was comfortable (we opted for the king rather than 2 singles). Plenty of storage and climate control was responsive.

Adequate for 1 person, tight for 2. Ample drawer, closet and storage space. Great layout in bathroom. terrific shower. Wonderful cabin stewardess Maria. Limited, repetitive tv programs and news in English.

Loved it; : Cabin 8050
Fine for us, did have a problem with the toilet, but that was looked after. More than enough room for all our clothes and luggage hid away nicely.

Our first cruise : Cabin 8098
There was an old bar of soap and soap scum on the soap holder. There were huge smears on inside of the cabin door. Sheets were not changed for the ten days of the cruise.

Our cabin was fine for two people, but might be a bit cramped for three. The bathroom and shower seemed adequate for a cruise ship. Not like home, but it will do for a two week cruise. There were plenty of cubbies and storage space to store your belongings. Just be careful to go through them all when you are packing to go home, it could be easy to lose track of somethings and leave something behind. One minor issue is that the beds were pretty low to the ground; so you could not store your suitcases under the beds. This usually frees up some valuable floor space. Read Less

8050 has a great view of a rescue boat. It's quite small - hardly space to walk down the sides of the bed, and has a shower (no bath), wash basin and wc. Lighting isn't great, especially for reading at night.
