AJ’s Sloth and Monkey sanctuary. We booked this on our own in advance. Shore excursions to these places were longer and more costly. We got transportation and the animal experience for $35 pp. Lots of fun and guide was great.

Never Cruise Norwegian

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Jade

We will never cruise Norwegian Cruise Lines again. They were very expensive but low quality compared to any other cruise line we've sailed. Didn't even include water or coffee in their vert expensive drink package. Even their Specialty dining was terrible. They nichol and dime you to death....literally bill you for 20% gratuities. We were with a friend group of 7, and we all agreed we will ...

THE WORST CRUISE LINE EVER!!!!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Jade

Having cruised with several different cruise lines I think I can honestly say this was the worst and I would never cruise with them again The emphasis to spend money by Norwegian cruise lines is overwhelming. The overpriced gratuities £14pp per day and the additional 20% surcharge imposed upon drinks which are already double the cost of other cruise lines made this seemingly fairly priced ...

We chose this cruise to see the Norwegian Fjords.Norwegian Cruis Line had been highly recommended to us, in fact one friend said that the Norwegian Jade was their favourite ship!?!?!? We were first timers on a cruise and felt quite abandoned and out of our depth! No-one was at the terminal to direct us, or tell us what to do! We eventually discovered things as we went along, and finally ...

We wanted to try something different and thought Norwegian would be a nice change. We usually go with Celebrity. We will never sail with Norwegian again. Worst cruising experience we’ve ever had. We couldn’t wait for the trip to end!! The food in main dining room was terrible as was the service. The buffet was disgusting...food was always the same...no variety and it was always cold. Plastic ...

Great itinerary - appalling ship experience

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Norwegian Jade

Norwegian prides itself (apparently) on the global basis of customers on its ships. They didn't get it right on this cruise however. Despite an excellent itinerary, reasonable on-off shore experiences (though be prepared to wait for up to 2 hours for a ticket to board a tender on the following day!!), Norwegian sadly left me and many passengers down by a truly appalling management of major groups ...

This was a truly awful experience! We are blessed to have travelled on a range of cruise ships over an 11 year period and always had some wonderful times and have made lifelong friends with people from all over the world but after this cruise seriously wondering if we will cruise again!! Sailing from and back to Southampton with a great itinerary we were really looking forward to this. The ...

Great Itinerary spoiled by Ship Experience

Since I visited Iceland in the 80's on business I had always harboured a desire to return there with my wife and this cruise offered that opportunity. It also included some other amazing ports of call that would be new to us such as The Orkneys and the Shetlands. These ports of call subsequently lived up to all expectations and were the highlight of an otherwise bad ship experience for us. In ...

The ship is fine by itself. However when we first boarded found our cabin bed(s) was not configured as we requested. The house keeping guy told us he did not receive any instruction from his supervisor. After the cabin was re-arranged, we found 2 holes in the sheet under one of the pillow, since we were rather tired so we did not pursuit the problem. After 3rd day on the trip, the sheet with the ...
