1-10 of 48 Norwegian Jade Cruise Reviews for for the Disabled to Europe - British Isles & Western
We chose this cruise as we wanted to experience a transatlantic crossing. This itinerary suited us as Portugal is a country we had not been to, and we wanted to visit New York again.
We are Platinum Latitude members and after sailing on a few other cruise lines we prefer the NCL Freestyle experience and Speciality Dining options. We do not like the bigger ships and mainly choose a cruise based ...
We just got off the Jade TA from NYC to Mediterranean. The ship was a bit small but good. kept very clean, great service. The cabin steward and bartenders were wonderful. Visit Domingo in the Whisky bar - makes the best drinks. Entertainment was ok but you were able to see all the shows. Ports were good. The biggest issue we had was the poor excursions booked thru the ship. Not organized, too ...
We knew NCL reputation of a middle of the road cruise line. It surpassed my expectations. We only went on the cruise because of the itinerary, which was superb. But overall, the ship and cruise was not good. Service was wonderful, when you had it. The restaurants were understaffed. I waiter for many tables. Rarely did we see a wine steward. Never in over 2 weeks did we have dinner in less ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and price - which both were excellent. We loved the transatlantic and seeing places we had never been to before. Best itinerary ever and still cannot believe what a wonderful price it was. The embarkation and disembarkation was the best I have ever experienced. Kudo for that. Loved having the beverage package and the people serving the drinks were ...
We just completed a British Isle cruise on the Jade and were really looking forward to the newly renovated ship. However, though the décor colours were updated to be more classic and subdued there was really no other wow factor that we noticed having sailed on the Jade previously.
Our cabin on the 11 deck was fine for an inside cabin, however the toilet was poorly placed in the bathroom and ...
My husband and I took a 28 day cruise in September-October 2018. We chose this to see the British Isles and Iceland...a few items on our bucket lists.
We flew directly from Denver to Gatwick on Norwegian Air Shuttle. The flight was fine (exit row seats!), but they demolished my husbands' suitcase. They say they've made a direct payment to my bank for the suitcase and lost items, but it ...
We choose our cruises based on itinerary and price. We have focused on seeing Europe the past few years and have always wanted to do a British Isles cruise but the cost was substantially more than the Mediterranean cruises. The opportunity to grab a “sail-away inside’ cabin at a bargain rate was all that was needed to convince us. As a DIY cruiser the idea of cruising an English-speaking area also ...
I chose this cruise for the wonderful itinerary as well as the “Jewel class” series which is my favorite. I also cruised on the NCL Pearl in Dec. 2017. I am a Platinum latitudes member and have been on over 10 NCL cruises.
And even though I still feel that they are a great cruise line; I have been very disappointed in the decline in the service as well as the decrease in the number of ...
I chose this cruise because it had the destinations I was looking for. The British Isles. I didn't care which cruise line it was, the destination was the purpose of the trip. We got on and off the ship very easily. Didn't like giving up our passports right off the bat, but they did return them as promised. We did not travel with children. Our cabin was a standard inside room. Clean and ...
There were a few changes in NCL policies on the ship that we were not aware of at the beginning of our trip. The policy on straws was a little bit of an issue. We could have brought our own had we known about the change. Also, the policy on taking food to your room or ordering at a restaurant and being able to take it back to your room. We were informed it was a health issue, but yet you could ...
