The layout was great. It has two separate rooms-one master bedroom with a king bed (the bed does NOT separate into 2 beds, fyi) with a gorgeous and very large bathroom attached to it. The other room is a living room/dining room area with a couch that turns into a pretty comfortable single bed. The table easily seats 3 (max capacity of room). Plenty of storage and outlets. The bathroom has an amazing bathtub, a large shower with rain faucet and a huge double vanity. My only complaint about the layout of the room was that you had to enter the master suite to go to the bathroom, but this was a minor issue. It was so much cheaper than the 2 bedroom suite that we didn't mind that little issue. Otherwise it was like we had 2 rooms. The balcony was very small and somewhat obstructed on the forward side, but it was still nice. Our biggest complaint about the room, which is really a big one, is that it is VERY noisy. Some part of the steering mechanism was right below our room, so maneuvering into port was VERY loud and created a tremendous amount of vibration...to the point that dishes rattled on the shelved. If you are not an early riser, this could be a big problem for you. I don't know how someone could sleep through both the sound and vibration. There was also a crew deck directly out in front of the master bedroom. This meant that the round window in the bedroom had to be kept closed all the time and it was very loud late into the night. The room we were assigned was floor 10 forward Port side. It consisted of a front sitting room with a couch, dining table, balcony and minibar area. There was a large TV and a desk as well. You could certainly have a 3rd person stay in that area if you needed to but they would need to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom. The bathroom was really nice and very spacious with two sinks and both a tub and a large shower with a rain head and side jets. There was also a small vanity that I found really nice to set up with my makeup and hair stuff. Plenty of oversized towels were available and the toiletries were also well stocked and nice quality. The bedroom itself had a king sized bed which was very comfortable with tons of storage.. 3 closets and many drawers and shelves. There was a large porthole window facing forward and it was neat to watch where we were going from the bed. We had both a Butler (Raymond) and a Steward (Adris/Adres(sp). To be honest, we didn't use the butler too much. I know they will do things for you like unpack etc.. but we just did those kinds of things ourselves and only ordered one meal in the room. He did bring us afternoon snacks and it was something different every day.. a bit of extra pampering and kind of cool. Adres was our steward and the one that we ended up having the most contact with. He helped get things done like retrieving an earring that had fallen behind the side table and got a closet latch fixed for us as well. He also was like a ghost keeping our room in great shape all day without intruding on our ability to use the room. The only drawbacks to the location of the room is that it's a bit of a walk to the elevator and it isn't "within" the haven complex.. so I guess that's part of the reason we didn't have as much contact with our butler as we might have if we had been up on decks 15/16. But it didn't hurt our experience and we found our room quiet and peaceful... kept well and very comfortable. Read Less

We had two tables, and plenty of seating. Lots of drawers and closets. The shower is very nice, and bath tube was huge, but did not use it much. Dual sinks was a nice touch and privacy for the person on the toilet. Movies and TV programs were included at no cost, which was nice, though we did not use it. Daily snacks and free room service for The Haven guests. Here is a video of the room: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7ZzAFQTJNccT77fb7 Read Less

The cabin and Maria our steward were fantastic. Our cabin was always in 100% perfect order. If I was just reviewing the room I would have given it 5 stars.

Clean, spacious comfortable. The only negative is that the light switch for the living room is behind the door. It's have to find in the dark and hard to use once you find it.

Brest France was not capable of handing a ship of this size nor was the leadership prepared for the port. There were three excursion groups that waited for over an hour in the theater because there was only one gang plank. On the return from the excursion there was an unbelievably long line that was not moving and kept growing. It was considerable time before the boarding began. It took us two hours to board the ship. There were twice as many people behind us and their wait was over three hours. Bottom line is that we were required to stand in damp drizzle and rain with no cover, water, or toilets. It was also a serious safety hazard because no was allowed to walk from the gang plank to the gate because it was a work area. The line extended from the gang plank to the port gate. Furthermore, the physically challenged at first were also in the line and after many of us complained they were taken to the from of the line. The amazing part of this experience is that they sent the lowest ranking staff to work this situation and leadership remained comfortably on board the ship. Needless to say the ship did not leave on time. In the entrance or the exit to Brest an engine was damaged and the ship was traveling at a slower speed and Belgium was eliminated as a port. That was a big disappointment because we wanted to go to Belgium. We had missed the Azores which was understandable due to high winds that was a safety risk. All of this is a matter of record that can be easily substantiated. All of this has made us wonder if we want to cruise again and we were in the Haven. Read Less
