Spa Balcony Stateroom (B9) Cabin Reviews

Great cabin. Given the chance, I would not do the upgrade again to this type of cabin. The spa is great, but unless you are the type to spend several hours each day in the spa, it is not worth the extra expense. Enjoyed it once, but ... Read More

If you're not ready to throw something at the tv by the end of the cruise then you're a better human being that I am. The tv is on a loop and you see the same shows, day after day. Read Less

Towards the front of the ship. Very quiet location except once in awhile, it sounded like someone was dropping weights above us. Room was fine and balcony was very small.

Cabin was nice, very clean, a little awkward with the closets alongside of the bed. Our cabin steward was top notch. Bed was comfortable. The bad was the A/C - couldn't keep the thing running and it was hot most of the time.

Pretty good cabin, balcony is small. The balcony furniture left a bit to be desired - table not big enough for a plate and a drink - never mind two people, books, etc.

perfect size and location. far enough from the elevator to be quiet but not too far to trek. Spa was an easy jaunt up. Plenty of space for our whole 2 weeks worth of clothes and luggage. Would have been tight with more guest though.

We upgraded to a Spa Balcony and based on the website description were expecting a slightly nicer cabin than the standard balcony. Even though the ship had just been in dry dock were surprised that the cabin was no different from a standard cabin. The only difference between a Spa Cabin and standard balcony is that you are on a higher deck and have access to the Spa. Whilst the cabs itself was nice enough for the price I thought it could have been a bit more lux than a standard balcony cabin given that they charge you quite a bit more for a Spa cabin. The cabin itself is fairly stock standard but a lot smaller than other balcony cabins we have stayed in. Like the rest of the ship it just lacked the nice finishes you find on Royal Caribbean such as power points by the bed and quality fixtures and fittings. I think NCL try to cram too many passengers onto their ships and the size of the cabins reflect this. The Mandara Spa is quite nice and provides a great getaway from the crowds on the ship. It has a nice area to chill out with a spa pool, sauna, steam room, salt room. Read Less
