Cabin 5824

We really liked the location of our cabin on 5th floor Aft, close to elevator and stairs as well as easy to get to the public areas without having to use an elevator. You could definitely feel the engine vibration but that wasn't an issue for us. Our cabin had plenty of storage space and lighting. I always love the efficient use of space in these small places. Our steward was super efficient and kept things clean and neat for us. There was one issue with an overflow toilet in the middle of the night! The housekeeping crews response was quick and unobtrusive which we appreciated since it happened around 3AM! Loved the fish on the hall carpet; kept me from being too confused.

I liked the cabin very much but hubby did not. Would have preferred a small chair.

Cabin 5732

I am guessing what particular cabin category were were in because I did not purchase the cruise. However, it did have a large picture window and a queen bed (technically two twin beds pushed together). The room wasn't that big, but the storage space made it feel a whole lot bigger. We unpacked all of our clothes and put the suitcases under the bed, which made the room feel bigger. My favorite part of the cabin was the picture window. It was big enough for one adult to sit in. I curled up in there with a good book and closed the curtain. It felt like it was just me and the sea :). The bathroom is tiny, but doable. I wonder what happens to those who are obese, because I am just slightly overweight (5'7", 180 lbs, work out regularly), and I was so happy to get back on land and to normal sized showers. Because the vanity and the toilet/shower are in the same room, only one person can really get ready at a time. I hated that there was no real outlet in the bathroom, so I had to use the blowdryer in the living space, which meant my husband couldn't watch TV in peace while I did my hair.

Why the change? By: cruehd
Bed was made twice daily and the bathroom/shower clean as well. Could have removed my drink glasses from the night before.

Cabin as clean. We had a cabin in the front of the boat and the view from the window was fantastic. The decor and furnishings were very nice. The room was comfortable.

Overall great By: amcoomer
I really enjoyed the cabin. We loved the giant ocean window, since we cannot afford a balcony room. We loved watching the ocean from our super comfortable bed! We also loved cabin steward Capuno. He cleaned the room twice a day and brought us fresh towels. He also made us cute towel animals every night! The tv is okay, not much to watch if you get bored.
