We were lucky and got a cabin upgrade, from a balcony to a mini suite. It was nice, bigger bathroom with a tub but other than that looked exactly like the balcony room. I'm not sure it would have been worth the extra dollars. The rooms are fine, very much like any other ship. They could use a little more storage space. There aren't any drawers to stash stuff. The balcony is small. I've seen other reviews with the same comment and agree. Smaller than other ships. But you can still sit out and enjoy. The room stewards are very busy. So don't expect them to be as quick to get your room cleaned. We had a few days where it took most the day before it got cleaned. Not sure what that is about. We expected a little more, especially with a mini suite. They were very friendly though. Our room was right behind Splash Activity. where they keep the kids during the day. I was a little apprehensive about the location, but we never heard anything from the kids. The walls in the room as a little thin. You can hear your neighbor talk some of the time and you can hear their TV. It wasn't horrible, maybe we just had some loud neighbors. Read Less

Nice and clean. The balcony was helpful and the shower was refreshing. Beds were good, but only 3 can fit into this room, although it says 4.

I booked a solo cabin but due to a price drop, was upgraded to a balcony mini suite. And it was heaven! I loved throwing the balcony door open at night and sleeping to he sounds of the waves hitting the side of the ship. Just great. The room is very well laid out and quite large for one person. It can sleep four, which would be a tight fit, but for one or two, it's perfect. The bathroom had a full bath tub and shower with shampoo and body rinse provided. There is also a television with several channels and free movies. You can also purchase movies for $9.99. There is a stocked mini fridge coffee/tea maker, ample closet and shelf space and a safe. My steward was very friendly and checked in often to see if I needed anything which, other than ice, I didn't. My room was always well cleaned with fresh linens daily. Read Less
