The cabin looked great but I think they washed it and it shrunk! The bathroom was laid out with a bit larger shower and shelves along the side of the stool and at one side of the mirror. There was no medicine cabinet for tooth brush, lotions etc. I used a drinking glass and hoped it did not fall off the shelf. Second day I found the waste basket behind the door under the sink! In the main area of the cabin the closet had ample hangers but it was difficult to get to. It has bypass doors rather than hinged doors. At one end was a set of shelves, one holding the in room safe. The access was blocked by the bed. There was 8” between the closet door and the side of the bed. If you wanted your shoes out of the closet you had to sit on the side of the bed and slide the door and then bend from the bed to the closet floor to retrieve your shoes. You just shinny in and out. Very stupid! We had a balcony stateroom. There was a small nite stand, 8” wide on either side of the bed, a sofa and a square upholstered stool at the vanity. The small coffee table that is customary was replaced with a wooden tray that fit over the vanity stool so you could use it as a “table”. Did not slide on the carpet so it was a pain. Vanity chairs no longer exist. This made it possible to make the cabins narrower. There is not a drawer to be had in the entire cabin. There were two sets of narrow shelves at the vanity – one along the side of the refrigerator and the other under the TV. If you go, bring some baskets, bags or boxes unless you want to keep your underwear, hairbrushes etc. laying on a shelf on top of each other. Very dumb. If you want electricity you have to put one of your cards in the slot under the lite switch. When you leave the room and take your card out of the slot there is NO electricity in the cabin. If you plug something in to charge it will not charge as there is no “juice” to the outlets or the TV. We had a small coffee maker on the vanity. In the morning you could get coffee delivered to the room but you have to ask for the menu. We found one and then had to keep requesting new ones. Other room service items come with a charge. No longer 24/7 free room service. Read Less

Our cabin was a little smaller than another cruise line we'd been on but suited us nicely. I especially like that the shower has a door! I used Carnival once before and it was curtain and it was very annoying.

The cabin was ok, with adequate storage and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was great, with a plenty of room and a large shower with a glass door. The steward was fair to poor, but that didn't really bother us. The balcony was tiny (40 inches deep from the door to the railing, including the depressed gutter area inside the railing) and it was a real deal breaker for us - we would not go on this ship again. Cabin is supposed to fit 3 people comfortable (i traveled alone). Had 1 small closet with a hanging rod that would not let a full length dress be hung, had to fold it over the hanger. Not enough room for other people's belongings. Not enough cabinets or outlets. Very narrow for a balcony room. Balcony was very shallow. Warning: you will not be notified when they are hosing the balconies from the outside..had water coming in on me while in my cabin! Even when i let housekeeping know this, they sent a bottle of basic wine & choco. Strawberries.. Yet still no notifications!! Other cruise lines are more considerate. Read Less

Loved our balcony room. It was a larger size that fit 3 or more people. Room clean, comfortable, all in working order. Loved our Steward "Dino". He was efficient, hard working, kind, etc.

Very Disappointed : Cabin 9972
At first we felt it was small but we settled in and were comfortable enough. Plenty of children onboard as it was Christmas. On our deck they spent a lot of time running wild up and down the hallway.

Our travel agent talked us into a guaranteed balcony stateroom. We ended up with room 9304, which exceeded my expectations for size, layout, and general amenities. I loved having the natural light from the balcony, and we managed to see some nice sights coming in and out of ports (as well as the coast of Cuba on our initial sea day) from our room. Our room steward was courteous and thorough, but did end up chastising us a few times for neglecting to turn off the DND light when we were out and about. However, we were not even in need of the room being made up. My 7 year old liked sleeping on the convertible couch, but it was not very comfortable and not really fitting for a grown up to sleep on. The bed was average comfort and I was happy with the amount of counter, closet, and storage space for our belongings. I did not smell smoke on my balcony, but I was able to hear some noise from other rooms/balconies as well as the 678 Ocean Place establishments below us. I LOVED being only 1-3 flights down and up from where a good amount of action was, especially to avoid the terribly long waits for elevators. Read Less
