Spacious and clean. We had lots of storage (even our largest suitcase fit under the bed, as did my husband's walker) large lighted closet, lots of drawers, and hooks on the wall to hang sweaters or robes. We had a coffee maker in the room!!! Comfortable bed with lots of pillows and extra blanket when requested. Bathroom was large enough, but tub was deep and difficult to get into--we vastly prefer a stand-up shower! Our steward provided a bath mat which made showering easier, and I admit we did use the luxurious SPA showers quite often. The pool deck was one floor above us but our room was sound-proofed and we heard no noise from above. Our balcony view was spectacular. Read Less

Cold food, lousy service : Cabin 11008
The cabin was an average room with a couch, a small tv and a bed. The bed was not that comfortable.

This room had an excellent view; the sunsets were gorgeous and we could see the scenery of the ports really well. We left our door open all night and the sea air made sleeping very peaceful and refreshing. The room was spotless because our stateroom steward was very attentive to us (and I'm sure it was like this for everyone on our floor). There was plenty of space for clothing and the bathroom was spacious for a ship too. Read Less

If you go on this ship, be very careful of where your cabin is located. The night we checked into our stateroom, we got almost no sleep. There were constant loud noises from the galley that was above us. We reported the noise issues to guest relations the next day and regularly after that. Having gotten absolutely no relief with respect to the noises keeping us awake at night, i requested to talk with the manager for guest relations. As a result, I learned the following: • we were not the first guests to report the issue. The constant noise in our stateroom is a “known issue” and "some guests are more sensitive to the noise than others". • the ship was full and there was no other stateroom to which we could move. • when i told them that we had been denied the quiet enjoyment of our room and ncl has not made good on its contract, they said there is nothing they could do on the ship. It would have to be taken up with customer relations (“ship coordinator”) at ncl headquarters after the cruise is over ... Which is exactly what i will do. Shame on ncl for not disclosing a known problem with respect to the room and selling the room to us at retail rates. Read Less
