Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony (MA) Cabin Reviews

A very good getaway : Cabin 11540
The mini suite was excellent. Room 11540 was very quiet. The couch/hideaway bed was replaced while we were on the trip, so it is brand new.

Our mini suite was larger than the balcony rooms we usually have stayed in. The full bath/shower was the reason we booked it and it was worth it. Everything was relatively new and very clean and our room steward, Derek, kept it that way throughout the trip. The TV had very few channels other than news and was disappointing. We had an unlimited phone call package but had a very difficult time getting through on our calls. Overall the room was excellent. Read Less

The room was clean and was a nice size to me. Bathroom had a tub/shower and separate toilet room. It also had a queen size bed. a couch that could be turned into a bed, a desk w/ a blow dryer and a magnified 10" round mirror, a safe, a stocked mini fridge, a coffee maker and a descend size balcony with 2 chairs and a little table. As in most ships only 1 electrical outlet. I always bring a power strip to take care of my charging of electronic devices. As for the TV only could watch NCL programs or purchase a movie. I didn't watch the tv at all except for the we all boarded the ship and the last day to view my bill. Read Less

Being situated below Spash Academy & the Video Arcade, I could hear kids screaming, running, pounding the floors, jumping, racing all day, every day from 9am to 10:30pm. I could actually hear the counselors screaming for the kids to get louder. I honestly couldn't hear my TV. I wasn't in the cabin all the time with all the islands and activities, but when I came back from the ports every afternoon, I wanted to relax and unwind... but it was impossible. If I wanted to read or relax, I had to wear earplugs. If you have any desire to have a bit of rest & relaxation, DO NOT BOOK CABIN # 11580!!! If you have loud kids or don't mind loud kids, or you're hard of hearing, by all means, book it! There is TONS of storage and it's very close to the mid-ship stairs. It is a lovely cabin, physically. Cabin was perfect size and the steward Joel did a great job with it. Our two teenagers were in an inside room and that was quite claustrophobic. The only other inside room we ever put them in had a window overlooking the promenade on a Royal ship and either it was a little bigger or just gave the feel of being bigger i don't know but this was tiny (my fault for not realizing the sq ft was so little) Read Less
