Room 9706 was absolutely everything we had hoped for. The living room was spacious with an eating area, bar space, sofa and chairs… loved the fresh flowers and the chocolate covered strawberries. Big TV in living room, smaller one in bedroom… Movies were free for Haven guests. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine every day and I may even ask for one as a Christmas gift. The bedroom had a king bed and more storage than we knew what to do with. It was the beautiful bathroom with its double sinks and separate soaking tub and fancy shower that really made me happy. Every time I looked at it, I smiled at how pretty and sophisticated it was. I chose a cabin on deck 9 because my other travelling companions were on that deck, in hindsight I would choose a higher deck for a better view and to be a little closer to the Haven on 17. I knew when I booked this room that people had complained about the view and the small balcony. I concur… the bedroom window overlooked the bow of the ship, not the ocean and the balcony was rather small and a bit obstructed. However, this did not stop me from enjoying my balcony every day (even when it was a bit rainy). The room was so quiet that I assumed (incorrectly) that no one was in the cabins next to us. Read Less

Beautiful suite. Good size living area with dining table, comfy couch. King size bed in bedroom with forward facing window. Bathroom was wonderful. Large with a double sink vanity, shower with all these different heads, bathtub. The only downside to this cabin was the balcony. Directly under the bridge so not only did you have this 'wing' overhead, the balcony itself was enclosed. It felt like I was sitting in a submarine. Tops and sides were metal, with the standard glass bottom panel and a small open window area. Since the balcony is my happy place, I was more than disappointed. I couldn't sit out on it w/o feeling claustrophobic. Read Less

NO view from the forward facing window ~ only 1 of our 2 Chairs on the balcony had a view ...... We booked with Friends who had never cruised b4 but we got split up, our friends moved to the 17th floor we were moved to the 9th. with a window in the bedroom that overlooked the staff area of the bow (no view) but people constantly working outside of our window. We were also directly above some sort of loading area with constant banging. We were woken up at 4:30 in the morning to the crew pressure washing outside of our bedroom window. Although the room itself was beautiful, we were extremely disappointed with our view and all of the activity around us. We were also disappointed in the separation from our travel companions. We bid to be in the Haven but were placed in a room 8 floors and 1/2 the length of the ship away. My husband suffers with severe foot pain and walking this distance was very difficult. Our room had access to the Haven but we were not "in" the Haven even though we paid the same amount of money as our friends. Read Less

With a regular balcony size cabin living area, a king bed in the separate bedroom, and a huge bathroom, there was plenty of room for the four of us. There was more than enough storage for all of our things with three separate closets and many drawers. The bathroom had a separate toilet room, a large walk-in shower with three different shower heads, a large soaking tub, a makeup counter, and double wash basins. The living area had a comfortable couch for lounging during the day, that pulled out at night for sleeping. There is a small desk with chair area. There is also a small dining table and 3 chairs. We made great use of the Nespresso coffee maker and kept some of our snacks in the small refrigerator. The balcony is on the small side, but had 2 chairs and a small table. We actually took a couple of dining chairs out so all four of us could sit. Read Less

The Haven is Heaven : Cabin 14106
Loved having a large room with plenty of space. Living room, dining area, large bathroom and separate bedroom. The balcony was small but didn't bother us as the size of the room made up for it. Lots of storage areas and closets.

Loved, Loved, Loved this Cabin. Sailing with basically 3 adults (Me, Husband and 16yr old son) having the separate Living Room for my son to sleep in was a huge plus. He's just to old to be sleeping above me on a bunk for my comfort. Bed was extremely comfortable. Balcony was normal sized but enough for two comfortable chairs, a small table not not feel squished. The Bathroom was HUGE and we all loved the Spa Shower. I would book this room again in a heartbeat. I did not feel we missed out on anything by not being in the Haven proper, but it is a long walk to the nearest elevators. We called it the "Never Ending Hallway". I tried to make sure I had everything with me when we went up to the Haven Courtyard area, but it really wasn't a big deal to go back to room if we had to. Unless you feel you have to be right in Haven or need a Giant Balcony, then definitely consider this room. A much better rate than the rooms right in the Haven area and you get more roomspace for less money. Read Less
