Oceanview Stateroom with Large Picture Window (OA) Cabin Reviews

Ours was a forward-facing ocean view cabin. It was adequate, but much of the floor space was unusable because of the ceiling's slant. There was no seating other than the beds. It was a LONG walk to the elevators. I would not ... Read More

The cabin was listed as an OA, but on deck #9 the only thing we could see was the bow of the ship and the crew standing on the deck taking pictures. The outside was on an angle, floor to ceiling and left to right, that wall had a bench across it and cabinets for additional storage. It was the smallest OA that we ever stayed in. Everything worked, bathroom seemed smaller. Read Less

Fun despite the weather : Cabin 14104

Our cabin was wonderful. We had a very large picture window looking forward over the bow of the ship. It was located directly below the bridge. The view leaving port and arriving in port was wonderful. I set up my gopro camera and took time delay pictures of the trip. It provided a fun experience during the rolling/tossing seas. It is amazing how much a ship this size tosses in the waves. We enjoyed it. Read Less

Large family ocean view room with tub and shower. The room was nice but the couch was worn and there were springs poking thru on the mattress. The TV was too far down the hall way to see from any angle.

Our cabin was very spacious and we certainly enjoyed having a front facing room. I am 6'4 and I felt that the room was big enough for me to enjoy it. Everything the room has to offer was great. The nightstands have ample lighting and USB Ports. There are 3 plugs in the main cabin area that are plentiful. The storage space was amazing, and the closet was great. I was amazed at how many storage spots our room had to offer. On our next cruise, we will certainly get a balcony room and relax more. Since this was our first cruise, we didn't get to fully enjoy the benefits of room service, and instead used all the restaurants on the ship. The room service menu is very big, and in the morning you have the option to choose from several free items. Anything else that is not free is only charged $7.95 each time you order. So you can order as much as you want for $7.95. Read Less

We thought it was great, the same as on all our other Norwegian ships. We liked having a window looking forward, since we were at the very front of the ship. But we also wish the staff would respect the sign in the bathroom saying that if you wanted to keep your towels, to keep them hung up. We never wanted our towels changed, so we kept them hung, but they were still changed every single time we had used them only once. If you're going to put that sign up, then they should respect what it's saying. Read Less
