We were happy with our cabin. It was mid ship and had a very nice shower. As is the case with other Norwegian ships we've sailed on, we always need additional outlets, but I have learned to bring an outlet adaptor which gives us additional USB ports and an extra outlet for regular plugs. It does not have a surge protector so it is fine for use on the ship. If the USB ports by the bed work properly, it helps, but one of ours did not work. Read Less

We upgraded from a stateroom to a mini suite. I am very happy we did as it offered more room, a larger balcony and most importantly, a larger washroom! We did find clothes in the room from a previous vacationer. Overall the room was very clean and tidy. Noal was our housekeeper and he was truly amazing. He would always say ‘hello’ in passing and check in to ensure everything was well. I highly recommend packing Lysol wipes as we continuously were wiping down our room and cards. Read Less

The cabin was very nice. Check under your bed though! We found a full unopened bottle of champagne. Of course it was at the very end of the cruise but they clearly don’t clean under the beds.

The cabin was tiny. The description of “Mini Suite” was laughable. It was very small, awkward and didn’t have enough storage, even for a cruise ship! The room was not Assessible to passengers with electric medical devices. There were no outlets by the bed. The remedy suggested by the cabin steward was to dangle an extension cord in the middle of the cabin which posed a tripping hazzard in the middle of the night. On the fifth night of the cruise, I discovered that the quilt I was sleeping under had an obvious unwashed bodily fluid stain. The cabin steward supervisor offered a bland apology and I received a handful of travel sized toiletries as if that would make up for the horror of sleeping in disgusting, unlaundered bedding for five nights! I emailed NCL four days ago about my disgusting experience and still no response! Read Less

Cabin was good and clean, a little tight, but we had enough room and enjoyed it. Cleaning crew were especially nice and very helpful. The full stand up shower was great, and had plenty of pressure. I really appreciated that.

I like Escape's cabin number plate, with "make up room", "at home", "do not disturb" indicators. Service is fine - adequate but attitude is so so (judging by our interactions over issues). Mini suite had bigger/nicer bathroom than balcony and that's the only difference. The biggest complaints I have against the cabin: 1. Layout - if sofa bed is used, you can't sit at the table with chair, can only sit on bed but that's a little far 2. Lack of electrical outlets - only 3 at the table, none near bed or even in the bathroom?! 3. TVs don't work. The TV in our room had its power unplugged, AND a line was plugged into the headphone jack! Someone tried to make sure even if you plug power in, you can't hear anything! But after I fixed both issues, there was only one channel available - a shopping channel, how convenient. I called service, who fixed the TV issue. Then I found the remote still doesn't work (only volume keys work). They had to be called again to fix that. Our friend who also had minisuite had malfunctioning TV too, and even after fixing they still don't have a number of the channels. This doesn't seem isolated incidents - no wonder first two days the outdoor activities and gym were packed! 4. Don't get me started on the room key. EVERYONE - our friend, neighbors - all complain about the inconsistent unlocking. Sometimes you have to insert/pull out the card 10 times to unlock the door. If you were running for your life in a horror movie, don't try to get into your room! You simply can't unlock it in time! 5. Our bathroom sink also leaked, wetting towels underneath completely. 6. No convenient trashcan in bathroom (had one in cabinet tho). Read Less
