We recently embarked on a 7-night Canada & New England cruise on the NCL Escape, departing from New York City on October 15, 2023. We had read some negative reviews prior to our trip, which left us with apprehensions, but I'm thrilled to share that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. I promised myself I would write a detailed and positive review for those like me, looking for updated ...

This was my second time on the Escape this year and I noticed many improvements and a few minor disappointments. We did the Caribbean cruise in February and although fun, the ship was packed with many, many pool chair hogs and loud drunks. The staff was friendly then but on this recent cruise, which was an older quieter crowd, the staff was downright gleeful. I heard singing, whistling and so many ...

Hi All, This was our first NCL cruise and choose it because of the itinerary. Everything went as expected wrt ports and ship excursions were of a high quality (possibly a bit chaotic on the pier especially in Halifax but as it was hailing this could be expected - would have liked NCL to advise passengers before disembarking as many would have waited rather than clogging the terminal to ...

This was a Cruise itinerary we always wanted to do. We went for the fall foliage. The sites were beautiful This ship was heaven on earth. So much to do. What a wonderful way to live the adventure at Sea. A must ship to try. The ship had wonderful Nightclubs, Eateries and Shows. We enjoyed Albano Venditiit- our very own Piano man at the District brew house nightly. The shows were ...

Our Children gave us the cruise as a 40th anniversary present.....we had no idea what to expect as we had never been on a cruise before. When we arrived at the ship we were in awe of its size and beauty, once on board we walked and explored the ship, met some of the crew and visited the garden café.....our departure time of 4:00 pm allowed us to acquaint ourselves with the ship before we actually ...

We traveled on the Norwegian Escape for the third time this year last week departing from NYC going to Canada and Maine. Obviously we love his ship because 1) the friendliness and service from the entire staff on the Escape, 2) the food is exceptional, 3) the entertainment, 4) the thermal SPA, 5) the Ship, there is always something to do and there are many quiet zones to go an relax. Now there is ...

By far the best cruise we have ever been on !! Normally we cruise with Royal Caribbean but will be sticking with NCL from now on. We travelled on Sept 22nd to Canada and New England and had an absolute ball. Fantastic ship, lovely food, excellent entertainment, the staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Alvin the cruise director is the best we’ve ever seen by far, ...

We came in on Thursday from PDX and stayed in Newark at the ex-Hilton (now Doubletree) Newark Penn Station as we needed two hotel rooms and NYC at this time was bit too expensive. The hotel needs some work even for a Doubletree, so a newer hotel would be better. I note that local taxi drivers still refer to this as the Hilton so you may need to use both names to end up at the right location if ...

Always Very Good! We decided to have our third cruise on Norwegian Escape because we were happy on two previous cruises. Amazing cruise staff gave us real relaxation and filling of holiday. Alvin Oliva (Cruise Director) organize everything very well. We met Deepak Punia (General Manager) several times every day. He spoke to guests and had in memory all their names. Because of Deepak we ...

I wanted to try a Norwegian cruise Line and thought that the Escape had everything to offer. Canada and New England was a perfect choice, especially if you're new to cruising. Great Ports , Portland, Bar Harbor, Saint John, and Halifax. We especially liked Bar Harbor, where we tried Lobster roll, a great local dish. The ship had everything to offer, great entertainment, excellent food choice. It ...
