This is my second trip on the Escape. Embarkation this time was a little less chaotic because I checked in at 10:30 a.m. Even though staterooms were not ready I was able to eat on ship and relax. Disembarkation was chaotic as always. Long lines wrapped around everywhere. Better to do the "self assist" option and not wait for your luggage color tags to be called.

Booked this cruise to celebrate our retirement. Norwegian prior kept giving us different information, talked us into a balcony which was dirty, had a dead bird on it for days. Atrium was overcrowded and folding chairs were placed to accommodate the crowds but were kicked and pushed as people traveled through. All the shows and select dining booked before the cruise began.if you wanted a chair ...
Entertainment, especially Choir of Man, was top-notch.
Port excursions to Burmuda also good. Boat to Hamilton and Mini-Bus tour of the entire island.
Casino deck reeked of cigarette smoke. Avoided it completely. Yuck.
Was never given the option of the "Sole Passenger" accomodations and paid double occupancy price. Didn't feel I got value for the price.

We chose this cruise within one month of sailing because Mom wanted to go back to Bermuda and we were able to take the train so she didn't have to fly. Mom is 88 and I am 65. This was my seventh time on Norwegian, 10 cruises total. Mom has cruised many Holland America ships in the past and this was her first large ship. I have usually cruised with the smaller Norwegian ships, except the ...
We decided to go on another Bermuda cruise, but we had very few choices in October from NY/NJ. We have always gone earlier in the season.
While we have always gone on smaller ships (Gem, Summit), we decided that Bermuda would be the gentlest way to experience a big ship, since there would be no tendering necessary, and only one port at which we could come and go at our leisure.
Honestly, ...
This was a family vacation which my father set up for myself and spouse, sister, and eight of her adult children. Norwegian and the staff of the Escape were great at getting the information to us before the cruise which allowed us to make dining reservations for our whole group so we could all sit together without having to wait each night at dinner time. One of my nieces had a medical issue ...
I'm an experienced cruiser in my late 40s and enjoy traveling with my family and as a single female. This trip was my sixth visit to Bermuda and I have to say right off the bat, if you live on the East Coast and you love beautiful beaches and ample sea-life, friendly people and fascinating history there is no easier or better destination. I've stayed on land and berthed on cruise ships and ...
It was actually a group that the radio station in our area set up and it was a great deal. The package included a specialty dinner, ultimate beverage package, bus ride to and from port, and onboard credit. We couldn’t turn it down. It was a great choice. We enjoyed every minute. Service and food were second to none. One thing we wished for was a second adults only pool. The one was always very ...
The main thing I find with the Escape is that almost all of the cruise staff activities are held in the atrium which means there is never a seat. I think people arrive early morning and keep saving seats all throughout the day. I have found with the smaller ships with more lounges it is easier to join in the fun.
We took the Glass Bottom Boat excursion thru Norwegian. They made a lady ...
We picked this cruise because we cruised to New England and Nova Scotia on this ship in this past September. we enjoyed this ship, crew, comfort and food so much we decided to book the Bermuda trip. It was an easy embarkation & disembarkation. Our cabin was great !
We booked a cabin with a balcony. There was plenty of storage space in the room and it had a nice size shower. The food was ...
