The beds were hard, cs was rude and was told that only the Havens got nice beds. Staff wasn't as friendly as Carnival and the food was bland. Had to schedule entertainment and nobody told us that we had to and by the time we figured it out they were all booked. Poor communication with passengers. The daily schedule tells you no reservations are needed for shows, the TV tell you the same but when you click on the venue it says it is sold out! Single port visit! Prefer more time in a single port to hopping from port to port with little time to explore in each one. Unfortunately, this ship is too large. Booked this cruise to celebrate our retirement. Norwegian prior kept giving us different information, talked us into a balcony which was dirty, had a dead bird on it for days. We really liked our trip to Bermuda with Norwegian Escape.
It was a really cool adventure as first-time cruisers.
The ship is well maintained - the staff is super friendly and the balcony cabins are spacious for a couple.
The complimentary food was OK. Not the best but we did enjoy it.

On the first day, I went to guest services within the first few hours to complain about our neighbor smoking pot on their balcony 3 times before the sun set. Guest services response was to say they would ask the steward to keep an eye out. Totally unacceptable since we couldn't use our balcony under those conditions. Ship - The air quality is extremely poor on this ship. The casino which allows smoking is not enclosed and the center of the ship is extremely smoky. If you have breathing issues, avoid this vessel! I could not breathe in this area even with a cloth surgical mask!

This was actually our fourth NCL cruise. We have found that certain aspects of NCL have declined over the last few years. Most notably the food. We found the food on this cruise to be mediocre at best with the exception of Cagney's and Teppanyaki. The Bistro was okay but La Cucina very average. The buffet was very disappointing with poor selection and okay food.
