Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Epic

You tell me if you think this cruise worth going for: Room door lock latches are hardly working every time it’s a hassle to open the door with the key card. There are no mattress covers, sheets are going directly onto spring mattresses, which is against all means of hygiene There are 2 floors of entertainment, though one is 70% covered with gambling machines and casino tables where ...

I have been on previous repositioning Epic cruises. My cousin traveled with me and she has been on 9 repositioning Epic cruises at this same time of year. It seemed like a sure thing....BUT surprise! This cruise was a nightmare from start to finish! Embarkation was a nightmare. We are both disabled and the embarkation staff didn't know what to do with us. Then my cousin was asking for ...

Too many passengers, too crowded. Third day in crowded at medical center with pneumonia outbreak. The Norwegian will not admit. Place was dirty. Buffett as not sanitary. Everyone reaching over the food. No service. I was so sick and could not use my drink package but they could not give any compensation. Thank god they said no credit because I am gone back to the best cruise line, celebrity. ...

We have tried many cruise lines before and thought we would give Norwegian a try!! It was worse decision! We came away very disappointed and sad that we traveled at greatt cost only to have bad experience. We have always really enjoyed our cruises and this was cruise number 18 for me and never have I come across issues like this cruise line. First of all the ship had very little entertainment ...

Norwegian Cruise Lines? Never again!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Epic

We were asked to join a couple for their anniversary cruise. The cruise ship was very overcrowded with more than 4,000 rude and inconsiderate guests. There were very, very few quiet spaces anywhere except our nice but tiny stateroom. Food was like eating in an army mess hall with people crowding in line and reaching in front of you for something they wanted. The food was poor unless you ...

This was our 36th Cruise overall and my 5th with NCL. For the past 7 years, we have cruised exclusively with Celebrity and have never found anything negative. Let me begin with positive comments. The entertainment was outstanding! Best ever on any cruise we have been on. The performers very talented. The cruise director Andre, was great. This was a 15 day transatlantic cruise and he ...

Epic is Pathetic-Veteran Cruisers Find Mega Ship is Meagre Ship

My wife and I are veteran cruisers. We have been cruising since 1984. We have been on many different lines and many different sizes of ships. We have been on mega ships before, such as the Dream, which has about 50% more cruisers than the Epic, and yet he Dream still seems to be able to handle the crowds easily, which the Epic does not. Too Few Crew: The Epic is a disaster. Main problem: ...

Mismanaged ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Epic

We just finished our transatlantic cruise on the Epic. This is a very mismanaged ship. The Cabin stewards and stewardesses were the only ones trained on how to do their jobs. Dinner in the Manhattan and the Taste, which are the only complimentary dinning rooms, was very disorganized. The only positive about this is if you came to dinner later in the evening, you were given free Champagne for ...

Epic cruise from hell!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I've been on numerous cruises with several cruise lines, including a 16-day transatlantic on the Norwegian Star and Caribbean cruises on the Norwegian Star and the Norwegian Spirit, which I enjoyed very much, so I was shocked by the Epic. Some examples: Entertainment: There were only 2 main-stage productions + a birthday-party-level magician and a third-rate hypnotist for the entire 13 nights. ...
