Nice cabin, nice touch with the divided sink, bathtub and toilet. Furniture on balcony very uncomfortable and simple. Over all a nice cabin.
I would have wanted to get public announcements in the cabin.
We missed all of the announcements, AND TH SAFETY DRILL. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was great! The location was perfect as we could enjoy the spa and fitness area quite easily. There is a good amount of storage for all of your belongings and room underneath the bed for your suitcases. Ladies, bring a lighted mirror for makeup! Read entire member review >>
Loved the cabin - it was spacious and the bed was soooo comfortable. Soundproofing between the cabins was perfect. One recommendation, however, would be to have a way to pipe in announcements to the cabins as it is difficult to hear them through the doors. Read entire member review >>
Sea days were spent resting in the spa. We had a spa mini suite so had access included in the room rate. There was some confusion about how much access one got with these suites when I read reviews before we arrived. I think I can clear this up! The mini suites are very close to the spa reception so very handy to just walk a few steps in bathrobe. There is no outside hours access just during normal spa opening hours while we were there it was 8am-11pm on the majority of days.
The suite was amazing and we had no issues with the unusual set up. I am not sure if the mini suites are a little bigger but there seemed loads of room and an excessive amount of storage! If sharing with your spouse there should be no issue with 'seeing the outline' of the person using the loo or shower and anyway if offended- why look?!
There are toilets nearby in the fitness area if you really want to be private!
RIcardo our cabin steward was fabulous and helpful.
We had continental breakfast in the room a few times which is complimentary and a pleasant way to start an early port day. We also used the laundry service and filled a bag for €19.95 very good service and worth it so I went home with clean clothes! Read entire member review >>
The cabin design is a bit odd with the shower and toilet having frosted glass but as long as you are sharing with your partner no reason this would be an issue. We had a Spa Mini Suite and was perfect, lots of cupboard space, in fact some were so well hidden didn't find them until half way through holiday.
The Spa cabins come with complimentary access to the Spa Suite, we used it every day and allowed for a bit of relaxation away from the rest of the ship. Read entire member review >>
This cabin is slightly larger than the standard balcony and also includes an actual bathtub. The tub is set a little high and may not be appropriate for the elderly. There is tons of storage. Situated right next to the salon (but not in the same hall), this cabin was very quiet. It is also extremely convenient to the spa and includes use of the spa, making the upgrade worth the price. Our cabin was very roomy with loads of storage space. Rather than a shower (like most other balcony cabins), we had a tub with shower enclosure. The carpets were worn, but I understand the boat was going for a 4 week dry dock immediately after our cruise, where some soft upgrades were being done.
The deck for our stateroom was immense and very private (I'd estimate it was at least 3 times the size of the standard size deck). The halls and area around our room were also very quiet, however the location of our cabin meant that we were always awakened early morning due to noise and vibration from the bow thrusters being used to position the boat. I hated the cabin. Having a curtain so that you can use the shower and restroom privately is a horrible design for a cabin layout. The beds are separated by a whole couple of inches. This isn't the way for two friends to travel together; you're literally crowded for space the entire time. Easily the worst cabin lay-out I've ever experienced. Read entire member review >>
This cabin was perfect; the entrance is right off the spa lobby and next to the elevators but the room was quiet. The hydrotherapy spa was great; lots of options in the pool, about four different saunas, the heated tile lounges....only negative is that the lounges on the stern, outside, were always occupied. That was the only crowded area. It is worth getting this as a throw-in. Also had my first acupuncture there and that went fine; proved to me that it actually worked. The spa itself is huge. The locker rooms are very nice as well. The room itself was great; spacious, quiet and well-stocked. The balcony was wonderful. The bed was comfortable; I slept very well; the humidity level was just right. I'm neutral on the split bath. The lighting in the room was excellent, by the way. This room is worth requesting singularly. Read entire member review >>
Great quiet location, wonderfully sound proofed. Down a small corridor with only a few other cabins meant foot traffic outside was less. More storage than you could know what to do with. The near-famous, and much berated, EPIC bathroom arrangement wasn't a problem for us. Read entire member review >>
Beautiful and spacious mini-suite with plenty of storage and oversized balcony. Very quiet end of the hall near the reception for the Spa. Near stairs and one deck up is pool deck. Bed is in the preferred "wave" position near the balcony doors. Read entire member review >>
Nice decor, too much storage! could never find anything! not cleaned very well, balcony nice size and quiet. great access to included spa amenities. comfy bed. space not an issue (but we are both skinny-ish!) bathroom arrangement interesting but not a problem to us. Read entire member review >>
Excellent design, lots of storage space. Highly recommend reading the card in your cabin explaining how to dim the light on the phone and other basic info. Balcony was cozy, while in port, the partition can be opened between balcony's if traveling with adjoining group. Bed was very comfortable (I usually have trouble sleeping but not there!). Spa mini-suite (14102) is situated right next to the spa and the gymnasium. This particular mini-suite has a bathtub as well as a shower but not all the rooms are the same. There is only access to a few cabins here so consequently there was next to no 'traffic' noise from people walking in the corridor. The balcony is very large and also very private, no being overlooked or window reflections from the other balconies. There is a curtained area where you can separate the bath and toilet from the main cabin and we didn't have a problem with the lay-out of the sink as this was next to the sofa rather than the bed. Bath/shower comes with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
Plenty of storage, even behind the sofa. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin could have been wider in size. Unique closet and storage space offered. Bathroom facilities should be altogether with a door to be closed off when needed other than a curtain. The halls could be wider for handicap persons to travel through, especially when the cabins are being made up, and the cabin stewards carts are situated outside the room. One thing that not only the EPIC but on other cruise lines as well. There should be additional power outlets for persons traveling with and needing to utilize their medical CPAC machines at night because of sleep apnea. Running power codes across the floor and having to get up to use the bath area during the night is a problem Read entire member review >>
Spa Deluxe stateroom 14106 was very comfortable, quiet and had a great view off the balcony. There was a bit of noise from the activity on top deck 15 but it was negligible. The bath/shower was excellent and the curved walls and modern lighting were a VERY pleasant touch and new innovation. Read entire member review >>
cabin # 14155, Spa deluxe stateroom , not worth the money. Noisy because of chairs being organized on top deck every morning. Balcony door shakes and makes noise.
Very narrow cabin, constantly bumping into each other. Asked for twin beds when booking, but had to ask again on arrival.
Closets have plenty of room for 2 people. Balcony is regular size. Read entire member review >>
Fantastic cabin in the SD category. The balcony of room 14118 is 3 times the size of the other SD cabins....the only one that size. It is at the end of the corridor and there is no traffic by the room other than staff. Read entire member review >>
Average balcony; average bed. The third party "bed" is a joke, my nine year old son almost fell off it, a adult could not sleep on it. Really great storage! Very bad bathroom (as it is in every cabin on the ship).
Location: Not blocked from the elevators & spa as indicated on the deck plans. Can be crowded and noisy in front of cabin. Read entire member review >>
My cabin was 14171: great closet and additional storage compartments, great view, very close to SPA and Fitness center, deck 15 directly above was home to H20 Spice (for adult partying)not distracting even when I opened balcony door could hear music but was not annoying or loud...awesome view, close to elevator but not noisy either Read entire member review >>
our cabin 14098 was aft of the ship the last one down the corridor in fact! it was one long walkway with bath and toilet seperate on either side of your entrance. then came a sofa, which apparently converted to a bed, that i would like to see! lots of wardrobe space and cupboard space. the room was a wavy rounded shape no square walls but quite nice. the television and safe didnt work in our room, or other rooms come to think of it, but probably will get sorted out. quite a nice size balcony too for 2 but not more people.
