Loved our room! So happy that we upgraded to the Spa Mini-Suite. We enjoyed going and relaxing in the thermal spa at least once a day!! Would highly recommend.

Disappointing overall : Cabin 14169

The cabin was spacious with a nice-sized balcony and a quite comfortable bed. It was quiet enough, even being near an entryway (I think it helped that it was right off of the spa area.) I didn't think that the weird bathroom with just a frosted door for the toilet (and a privacy curtain) would bother me, since I was travelling with my husband, but we found that it made us both very uncomfortable. For this reason alone I would never cruise on this ship again. Read Less

Cabin was very clean but laid out strangely. As you enter the stateroom the shower is behind a glass sliding door on the left and the toilet is behind a sliding glass door on the right. There is little privacy if there is more than a couple in the room as there is no bathroom door. A curtain is provided to separate the shower and toilet area from the rest of the cabin. The cabin is very dimly lit and has dark paneling throughout. There are plenty of cabinet and storage places. The balcony is small and contains only two chairs and a small table. No loungers. We were in a Spa Mini Suite (14171), starboard aft. The cabin is spacious with lots of storage. I'm sure you've read the complaints about Epic's shower/tub and head being on opposite sides of the cabin and somewhat exposed. That was not a problem for us; it actually seemed to save space. The pillows, linens, and bed are very comfortable except the bed is not as long as a standard queen (perhaps because the first half dozen inches are attached up under the headboard). I'm only 5' 11'' (1.8 m) an my feet hung off the bottom of the bed. The "sofa" with its curved back is so incredibly uncomfortable the only time we used it was to sit for a moment while putting on shoes. Read Less

We really enjoyed this cabin and it's proximity to the spa. We went every morning and afternoon, especially after coming back from excursions! Spa was rarely busy, and we sat outside and watched the world go by on more than one occasion. Although it says this suite sleeps 3, it would have been a stretch for 3 normal sized people. Maybe with a child, although still it was pretty tight quarters. We were happy with the set-up. Some people have complained about the sink being disconnected, but we thought that made it nice as someone could shower while someone was at the sink. Overall, very happy with the set-up. Read Less
