The itinerary and weather were superb. But what make it 5 stars was the excellent level of service. It brought me back 10 years from when I first started cruising. Ncl must have focused on service because I noticed the difference. There was plenty of cheerfulness and attentiveness.

I read some reviews before this trip, as it was our first NCL, (We are mostly HAL cruisers.) Many were relating dissatisfaction. Was pleasantly surprised to experience none of those bad reviews.

I have chosen this cruise due to having good experiences on most of NCL ships, and it left from NYC which was good for me. 2 days we both wanted to take a shower and no water for showering. This was our 8th trip on Dawn so we are very familiar with her! We booked this cruise after an injury this summer forced us to cancel a transatlantic cruise. The boat was nice and clean and decorated well. Decor was modern and not as busy as some boats can be. Our room was clean and bathroom was largest we have had on a cruise. The embarkation went fine. I really appreciate the encouragement of hand hygiene! The shuttle guide waited for my wife because I our plan was delayed 45 minutes. wanted a short cruise and have always loved Norweigan and recommend it to others.
This cruise offered very little in entertainment, things to do were lame (such as games).
Found the elevators in the morning with spilled drinks and food not cleaned up. Our mini suite was a dissappointment, old.
