Balcony (BC) Cabin Reviews

Not a good trip : Cabin 9016
Sail Date: February 2017
The cabin is very small and not much storage. I would recommend not taking this ship.

Smallest balcony stateroom we have had. Nice.. but definately small. Also, there were three couples on this trip and we booked side by side by side staterooms so we could open up the doors between balconies. First day our steward told us, Sorry, can't do it. Some 'safety issue'. Well as soon as he left we figured out how to open them and it was great. But next day... locked up again. So, we just unlocked them again. Played this game for three days until I guess he just gave up. Read Less

This was just our second cruise, the other being on Princess. The cabins on both ships seemed comparable. The shower on the NCL Dawn was bigger. Definitely need to work around each other moving around the cabin.

A standard Midship balcony cabin, located almost exaclty in the middle of the ship. Nice and quiet, with a great balcony, and the steward Johnito was exceptional. Not alot of 110V plugs given the ship came from Star lines, so bring multi-outlet adapter. Comfortable beds, but they still need to solve that damn crack down the middle. Some sort of matress topper is needed to bridge that gap. Spacious cabin, lots of storage and a nice big bathroom and glass door shower. Balcony was a little dirty and rust, but was still a great place to retreat fromthe crowds. Great central location to all amenities onboard. Read Less

The space is very small. Storage space is limited. The tv programming is very limited only 4 tv stations, two movie stations where movies were repeated through the week. The bathroom extremely small. The shower does not have enough water pressure, unless you use more hot water than cold water. The balcony has two chairs and small table and only two people can fit. The drawers kept on opening and would not stay close. Hair drier was powerful. They have a coffe maker in the room but we never used it. Read Less

Our cabin was amazing for the size! We don't spend the extra for suites, but do for a balcony. We loved our room and it was SO VERY QUIET!!!! Highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a balcony cabin! We had cabins above and below and heard no noises from dining or clubs. Our friends had a suite and they were on the 12th floor and heard the chairs being slid around from the Garden Cafe before the sunrise! Read Less

Smaller than carnival balconies. Door rattled when the wind blew or the ship went fast. Kept us up for 3 nights. Stools didn't want to flush...took repeated tries and was scary.
