We are avid cruisers but have only sailed Norwegian a few times. The Breakaway is a nice ship. The decor felt updated and even elegant in places. The staff and crew was always friendly and helpful. Due to having to use tenders, one port was canceled. At the other two, it took hours to re-board. The cruise director did a TERRIBLE job of communicating in Cozumel. Yes, there were a lot of ships which I understand makes it more congested. We have sailed many cruise lines and this is a one and done for us.
Customer service is poor to non existent. Never heard a staff member ever say anything gratuitis. They never greet you nor do they say thank you, have a great day....nothing. Even when they screw up, they dont apologize, they just look at you and insinuate its you problem not theirs.
