Family Inside Stateroom (I2) Cabin Reviews

It was ehhhh : Cabin 12659
Worst cabin I have ever been in. Every time the ship docked I was almost rolled out of the bed. The noise from the crew area was ridiculous. I swear they dropped glass at least once an hour. The deck plans make it look like there is a side ... Read More
Worst cabin I have ever been in. Every time the ship docked I was almost rolled out of the bed. The noise from the crew area was ridiculous. I swear they dropped glass at least once an hour. The deck plans make it look like there is a side hallway you can use to get to the room. Not true. You have to walk all the way to the back and then up the middle. I would NEVER stay in this location again. Read Less

We had a handicapped accessible room. This was not necessary as no one in my family are in a wheelchair, but apparently it was not needed, so we ended up here. It was nice to have the extra space around the bed and in the entry way. Some of the accessibility features were inconvienient to us (strobe light anytime the phone rang - electronic door that would re-open if you tried to close it faster than it moved) but overall, we were quite happy with the space. The ship is newly refurbished (2018), modern and very attractive. Though compact, our interior stateroom was well organized with plenty of storage space for the two of us. It was easy to keep the temperature comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable. Our attendant, Ryan, came in twice per day to keep it clean. Everything worked, except the TV remote which was promptly changed out when we called. The stateroom was GTY, and we hadn't tried this before, but would definitely let NCL choose our room again for the Sail Away discount. Read Less

The cabin was small. We were told by some elderly experienced cruisers that it is the smallest interior cabin on any line. The two of us found it adequate. Dark if you want to nap during the day our sleep late. We were glad we brought a small night light. This cabin is way forward on an interior hall so probably less motion than being on the outside. It was noisy, not ship noise but people noise, thin walls. Bathroom was perfectly adequate, clean and modern, lots of hot water. Good air flow in the bath so no smells and able to dry swim suits and laundry. Could use more storage for a 14 day cruise but we did ok. Read Less

This is a handicap room. The bathroom was large enough to handle a wheelchair. The room is an excellent location, BUT a huge negative.....There is a button outside the door the activates a strobe light (Hearing impaired) and a vibrating feature that shakes your bed and the phone. People walking by kept pushing the button. This happened about 7 times a day. Often at 3AM. Very frightening for a disabled person. Our room had a horrible urine smell. The bathroom door was broken. We requested to have it fixed. No luck. We finally fixed it ourselves . Worst room stewart ever. very lazy. Did as little as possible. Read Less
