We recently returned from our 7-day (9/17-9/24) Norwegian Cruise to Bermuda. We had a tremendous experience, except for my wife’s 2 days of sea-sickness. The Norwegian Breakaway ship is a fabulous vessel, it was extremely clean and very modernized. It has an unbelievable abundance of options in regards to dining, bars and entertainment. Our favorites were, Ocean Blue restaurant, Mixx Bar and Fat ...

i do not like to fly and ncl has the most ships sailing from nyc.one of the mani reasons i may try a different line is because the dining package is getting to be a sad experience you pay the price they ask and then you do not get the benefits they have in the free dining rooms .Also they have taken the better foods off the menu like they have surf and turf (shrimp and steak no lobster) they ...

I love cruising. I live in Austin, TX and wanted to visit NYC. Friends recommended Bermuda so i thought that I would cruise from NYC to Bermuda. Bermuda is beautiful. it is clean, friendly, and interesting. There is a lot to see and do but it is expensive. I chose to do it on my own buying the transportation pass. Everyone I spoke to who went on a shore excursion loved their excursion. Ship ...

My friends raved about Norwegian's Bermuda Cruise, and this one definitely lived up to the rave reviews. Top Broadway quality shows, delicious food, and expert housekeeping services. Terrific value if you're avoiding flying, especially for residents from the NYC area. Leaving out of NY harbor with exceptional views is the best way to start off the trip. The only negative to speak of is that ...

Our Wonderful Bermuda Vacation!

My wife and I chose to take a much deserved vacation aboard the Norwegian Breakaway to Bermuda, and although we had previously sailed 10-14 times previously with Princess and Carnival, we were favorably impressed in general with our Norwegian experience. Norwegian is unique in offering the opportunity to pre-reseve dining, entertainment and shore excursions. By all means, we suggest that these ...

My wife & I needed a quick get away and since we live on Long Island this was perfect. Bermuda is always lovely and although we took a chance booking for September with Hurricanes the week we left the weather was perfect! This was my first cruise on Norwegian To be fair, I'm a huge Celebrity Cruiser and am comparing NCL to Celebrity in this review. Unfortunately embarkation turned out to ...

Chose this cruise because it left and returned to NY. Had sailed on Breakaway before, and enjoyed the experience.Things that disappointed this time were: Cagney's porterhouse not as good or tender as it should have been. Cagneys lobster bisque very strange, didn't eat it. Steak knife not sharp and was huge and hard to cut with. Manhattan room NY strip steak also not tender, sent it back. I agree ...

If you like food and service this is the cruise. plenty to do and lots of fun. Jewelry was not a good deal. better prices on Amazon. I was disappointed to loose 100 bucks on a watch I thought was a good deal. so stay away from 75% off NOT deals and just enjoy the ship and the vacation. will definitely go again. take extra time on your days on shore. to rush around to see too much was kind of ...

This is our third Norwegian cruise. We love the freestyle idea, but have never sailed on any other cruise line. This was our second trip to Bermuda on the Breakaway. The cruising experience is wonderful with Norwegian. Since this was our second on the Breakaway, we knew the ropes, what was where and what to expect. While I don't want this to sound negative, I want to be honest on what you may ...

Sailed same ship in 2013 I see a better improvement in attitude from the staff. Open areas but ventilation could be better by the cigar room and casino. Pretty good ship and never feels to crowded until last day. Many dining options one thing that kinda got me was the service charge for my 3 yr he eats off my plate and sleep in same bed 14 dollars extra a day seems little high. Guest services, ...
