We had a great time on this beautiful ship!
"so maybe avoid deck 9 rooms or avoid mid ship rooms if you go to bed early, the layout was a little odd where you can’t get to the front of the ship or back of the ship on outdoor/upper levels because those are sectioned off for “Haven” members or laser tag or adult only clubs for an extra fee, the adult only area that was free smelled like either gasoline/diesel from the ship or from the racetrack- we didn’t use it at all.Cons- We missed having a full promenade deck that goes around the entire ship for walks and running- this ship has a small running track above the pool deck maybe 1/2 the area of the ship....."Read More

First of all- this site is FULL of complainers. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. 4.5 review for us. We loved our experience on this ship! We don’t expect 100% perfection. Here are our pros and cons: Pros- Beautiful clean new ship, spacious balcony room, comfy beds, OBSERVATION LOUNGE deck 15- with huge windows and drinks and snacks almost always available- and tons of seating- we ...

I wanted to love it but I didn’t

This was my ninth cruise, after two on Disney, five on Royal Caribbean, and most recently one on Carnival just a few weeks back. Unfortunately, this cruise was just "fine" and I've canceled a future NCL cruise to book with another line. This is rare for me - usually I'm clamoring to book another cruise with the same line by the time I've disembarked. I was sailing solo for my birthday and because ...

The Norwegian Bliss is seemingly a fun ship, especially with young children in mind. Lots of outdoor playing opportunities like the Speedway, Water slides etc. Plenty of eating venues, both specialty dining and casual dining. Foods are good and have good varieties. The casinos were well run. And the entertainment was good too! And we feel pretty safe to travel with NCL! What bothers us the most ...

Why chose this cruise because the repositioning option was very reasonable and gave us a chance to see Victoria and Vancouver. The food on the cruise was amazing. We are in the complimentary restaurants only. The Manhattan Room had great food and a beautiful view. If you arrive before opening and get in line you can get a table along the big windows with a great view. The food in the buffet was ...

We had last cruised NCL in Fall 2022 on back-to-back cruises on Prima and Breakaway. So when we felt like another cruise, kept it simple and cheap with this respositioning cruise. Our first time on this class of ship. In general, this is a good ship with many things to do and good specialty and general dining. There are typical challenges with over-crowded elevators; limited seating in public ...

We have been on many cruises usually 2 or 3 a year and we looked forward to trying out NCL and their newest ship the Bliss. Right from the beginning it was frustrating. The drink packages are way over priced. $99 a Day is crazy compared to other cruise lines. Most of the Shore Excursions were way over priced. I rented a car for the day and drove all over San Francisco and Victoria. It was far ...

Celebrating a special anniversary. Embarkation nightmare. Supposed to board ship at 7P.M. which is a late boarding to begin with. At 11P.M. finally made it without any explanation as to the delay. Ate dinner at midnight. Company not terribly concerned about inconveniencing passengers. Due to the extraordinary delay Seattle was eliminated from our itinerary. Instead of three stops on our 6 day ...

This Was Not Our Bliss

NCL staff and management have no clue how to travel with 4,000 passengers. We are still trying to decide if the ports just are not ready for the mega ships - or if NCL just doesn't care whether they get repeat customers. Nothing about this cruise would make guests feel welcome. (1) NCL knew in advance that the docks were full on Sept 30th so embarkation would not begin until after 7pm. They ...

This was our second cruise and first on Norwegian. It was a cruise from hell! We booked a boarding time of 10:30 a.m., so booked a flight from Calgary to Vancouver arriving at 9:00 a.m. Got to the port and advised that boarding had been changed to 7:00 p.m. We had the whole day to kill so were given a recommendation to take the seabus to North Vancouver. We did that, and thankfully the ...

A disaster cruise trip

We are a platinum latitude member but normally took a NCL cruise on a small ship. My wife and I wanted to try a larger ship. The embarkation was a disaster. It took us more than 4 hours to check in and embark. Personnel at the pier in Vancouver were so disorganized and they waited until 7pm to start the process. They could have started earlier and gave us our passenger pass. NCL deleted our ...
