This is a beautiful ship. We had a mini suite and thought the bathroom was great. It had a huge double sink with 2 faucets and a big shower. Worth the extra charge for sure! The room is a bit smaller than Celebrity Ships I've been on width wise but same length. Nice room. Ample storage for clothes. The only thing I'd recommend is bring a light of some sort for the bathroom otherwise you have to turn the overhead light on during the night. We thought the food was pretty good on the ship. We did speciality dining 6 of the 7 nights and thought the food and service were really good. Ate one night in Taste, the regular dining room and thought the food was pretty good there too. We did breakfast almost every morning at either Taste or Savor and thought they were great. Service was good too. The ship is easy to navigate. Sometimes elevators are a bit full but another one comes along fairly quickly. Thought embarkation and debarkation were very easy. Everyone on the ship always has a smile and really tries hard to make your experience a good one. The Observation lounge is a great place to hang out plus they serve food all day long and there is a bar if you want a drink. As the week went along, more people found this treasure. They have comfortable furniture for reading and just watching the water. Neither of us had the drink package but we did notice that with all the people that did have it, bars were open everywhere on the ship all day long. When we were on Celebrity, it was pretty hard to find a bar open during the day except at the pool. Loved the outside deck that surrounds the specialty restaurants. Great place to hang out on the couches or to take a walk or get a drink. Really nice atmosphere and great place to watch the sun rise or set. On other ships this type of deck view is blocked by the life boats. The boats are on deck 7 on the Bliss a deck below Deck 8 where the specialty restaurants are. The ship definitely has places to view the water all the time; something that was lacking on Royal Caribbean's mega ships. On that ship, I felt like I was floating on an island where I rarely saw the water. NCL knows how to bring the ocean into the cruise experience especially when you eat outside at the specialty restaurants. Now here are my cons about the ship. The pool area is crowded and the music is SO LOUD it literally hurt my ears. I was surprised parents let their little ones hang out there...it was deafening. Actually we found the music was too loud almost everywhere. Couldn't hear the words to the music when bands played. Only the instruments. Love the adult solarium on Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. NCL has a small adult area with chairs and a bar. The only problem is there is no shade even with 3 or 4 small umbrella's. Too bad cause that would have been great. Now for the shows. I liked Jersey boys although its a shorter version of the Broadway production. I left 15 minutes into Havanna. I couldn't get into it. Saw the comedienne's. Hard to get into The Social Club so appreciated the show that happened in the theater one time during the week. Liked the Beatle's tribute although again the music was so loud in a tiny venue. I missed a regular show that you could catch at either 7:30 or 9:30 on Celebrity ships. You always had to make reservations for the shows and they didn't always coincide with the times booked before you get on the ship at the specialty restaurants. Lots of stuff happened in the atrium. It's way too small for the purpose it serves for some of the shows there like the Newlywed game. People were everywhere with no seats. The theater would be a better choice for that and later in the night. The cruise director tried to make it sort of risqué yet there were young kids around cause it was pretty early. Overall, its a great ship that is staffed well. Like I mentioned earlier, the staff is always smiling and trying to make your experience a good one. I would like to see the music at a decibel that doesn't bust your eardrums and make your ears ring along with a show you could see every night with a 7:30-8:30 reservation. (Most shows were in the Atrium then) There is something for every age on this ship for sure!!!! Read Less

Ship is beautiful, Food was great, Entertainment was great but most specialty restaurants were unanavaible unless you book months before cruise. Seating was primarily unavailable in buffet during peak periods and waits on elevators was lengthy. It just seemed as if ship was overbooked but we would definitely go again on the Bliss. This was our first cruise on Norwegian but have a total of around 20 cruises among RC, Celebrity and Princess. Bartenders Rossi, Ivana and Marina were outstanding heros in the Maltings Whiskey Bar. Room was excellent!! Loved the shower. Lots of room. Totally enjoyed the prohibition show and jersey boys. Embarkation was good. Was disappointed we could never get on go carts. Didn’t know you had to book in advance. That was the main reason for this cruise. My husband loves to ride go carts. Maybe next time. Read Less

The Bliss now has been added to my list of favorite ships. The vessel itself is beautiful with everything in a logical place with the notable exception of Le Bistro, which is oddly hidden on an upper deck. The crew is fantastic, led by Jovo as Hotel Director. Everyone is friendly, caring and helpful. For me, the crew makes or breaks the experience, and this group made mine a joy throughout the week. The food was consistently at least good, with some excellent. Most of my dinners were in specialty restaurants, all of which performed well. Menus seem to change almost every month, which adds variety, but inevitably results in removal of my favorite items. I realize that’s a corporate issue, not a ship decision, but it’s worth mentioning anyway. The entertainment was excellent, led by the two big shows: Havana and Jersey Boys. Both were major productions with very talented casts. The Beatles tribute band also was great, including their theater show on the last night. Silas, the Cruise Director, did a wonderful job, backed up by an excellent cruise staff. I was in a balcony cabin. If you’ve been in a balcony on any NCL mega-ship (other than the Epic), you know what it’s like. At least they’ve finally improved the interactive TVs to provide more functionality. On the other hand, the internet service was awful. Much of the time, it was hard to log in, slow as an old-fashioned dial-up connection when you could get on, and unable to retrieve email too often because the server would time out. The worst I’ve experienced on any ship. Find a new provider; this is simply unacceptable. I’m anxious to sail on The Bliss again, though it’s scheduled move to New York will make that more difficult. As far as the senior officers, I expect to see many of them again after they launch The Encore next year. Read Less

Went on NCL Bliss for the excitement of a better ship with go-karts vs the NCL Epic and Escape. The Jersey Boys production was outstanding. The Havana show was good but not my type of show that I would want to pay for. The Observation Lounge/deck15 was the best part of the ship. What I was disappointed in were all the chairs and lounges in the Observation Lounge and Atrium. They were all very uncomfortable. People were laying on the fabric chaise lounges in the Observation Deck without towels underneath them. Questioned the sanitary conditions of those Observation Deck lounge chair fabrics after their use. The dining ( complimentary areas) was just ship food (some good some bad). Found the servers very good in the Manhattan Room. Had dinner one evening in Savour Restaurant and found the service to be poor. Did not eat in any specialty restaurants. The Meet and Greet with the ship personnel was excellent. Beds in stateroom felt uncomfortable as compared to the NCL Epic and NCL Escape. As to the cabin, never met the room Steward but the cabin got cleaned twice daily. The ports were nothing special, we primarily were on the NCL Bliss for the newness of the ship. There was an abundance of children on board and I would attribute that to free perk of 3rd and 4th passenger goes free. Although, we love children, we found many of them running out of control throughout the ship. Even saw them sliding down the rails on the stairways just outside the Manhattan Room. Very unappealing. We are Gold Latitude Members and usually purchase future cruise certificates but as a result of cruising on the NCL Bliss, we have decided to no longer sail with NCL. Read Less

This ship is too big. This was our third cruise with Norwegian (past cruises on Getaway and Escape). We were disappointed that Spice H2O was cut to half the size on the other ships to accommodate the loading area of the "race track" (the racing was pathetic, speed controlled by NCL employee and only a 3 or 4 laps, no room for passing). The Glow party became the Family Glow party and lasted one hour after which the DJ packed up his equipment and went elsewhere. We were also a little put off by the race track and laser tag taking up one whole deck. they took out the free activities and replaced them with revenue producing ones. I would rather have the ropes course, climbing wall, and basketball court rather then having to pay for the rather pathetic race track and rarely open laser tag. Other than that the crew and food were excellent. We ate at Q twice and it was probably the beast BBQ I have had. They are changing the drink menus also (no more Mango Meltdowns) and a lot of trainee bartenders that don't know anything beyond the basic mixed drinks. Christmas decorations were pretty, but blocked the view of the atrium from above, which is where we usually watch the shows from. The port at Nassau was awful, three other mega ships in port with us, excursions were rushed and crowded, not worth the time or expense, St. Thomas and Tortola were ok, but I don't think we will ever go on this itinerary again. I wanted to see the new ship. It is not a ship for smokers, there is 1 area that is "free" to smoke. H2O had the smallest smoking area that I've seen on any NCL ship, it was crowded not comfortable and partially covered so if it rained you would likely get wet. You could not use the Cigar Room, and casino for smokers you had to play to smoke. The ship and entertainment was wonderful as well as the staff but not enough staff for the number of passengers. Was in the regular casino for 3 hours and not one wait staff in sight the whole time, had to go to the bar for drinks. The food was really good in Food Republic and Cagneys was sub-par which is unusual since it typically is way above average. I'm not sure if this is due to staffing or not. Personally, I will not go on the bliss again but mainly because I am a smoker, if you are not, you will likely enjoy the ship which is a sight to to see. I'm glad I went and the ship will be awesome traveling to Alaska. I do hope that they increase their staff though which would round out the average to excellent for most on board. Read Less

The Bliss is a beautiful ship. Norwegian got it right with this plus class. They have made up for the sins of the Epic. Embarkation was a breeze. They used two terminals at the Port of Miami and this kept the crowds to a minimum. We had barely finished our health surveys when the agent called us to the desk. We were on board within fifteen minutes of clearing security. As with many larger ships, the elevator count and placement is inadequate. They also seemed to accommodate fewer passengers than many ships. Getting around the ship is relatively easy if you remember that you sometimes need to "go down to go up". Entertainment was mostly good. Jersey Boys was excellent but Havana was very repetitious. Stage mechanicals were amazing. The Beatles tribute band was very entertaining but they really need a larger venue for this popular show. The comedy show was average. Games, competitions and karaoke were all fun. One of our favorite hangouts was the Atrium. The drinks at the Atrium bar were the best and most consistent. You won't go wrong if you attend any offerings in the Cavern Club. We tried three upcharge restaurants. Teppanyaki was excellent with great food and entertaining chefs. Le Bistro was excellent but was strangely located near the race track. La Cucina was a bit of a disappointment. When the waiter saw that I had eaten very little of my entree, he didn't even ask if there was something wrong. I had to bring to his attention that my meal was subpar. This did not put a damper on our trip as the meals in the main dining room (Taste and Manhatten) were excellent and the service was prompt and friendly. Enjoy a lunch at The Local pub. Buffet is well organized and the food tasty and warm. Seating is much less crowded than many large ships. Addition of booths was a great idea and the high tops provide additional seating. Pools are small and very crowded on sea days. Deck chairs are plentiful but you have to snag one early if you want to be near the pools or in the shade. Bar service is quick and friendly. Theater is large and comfortable. It is not overly ornate, more like a up class modern movie theater. Visibility is good from most seats. This was the first ship I have sailed where the theater did not have a balcony, eliminating the need for support posts that block views. I don't know why but Norwegian has the most disorganized method for disembarkation. It often involves a conga line of people with multiple suitcases weaving around the ship. Why call people to join the line when it is already a quarter mile long? Better to have them wait in the common areas then exit the ship as their tag color is called. All-in-all we had a very enjoyable cruise on the Bliss. Would definitely sail the Bliss again and recommend her to all. Read Less

A little pricey on this ship but I feel it's worth it. We love the spa on all Norweigan ships. Food was really good even in the buffet. We chose this cruise due to timing and itinerary. Also, having sailed several smaller ships, wanted to try a mega. My review is based on prior experience on smaller ships, so I’m not sure if I should have been surprised. First, I’m a fan of the freestyle dining and give very high marks to “Q” which was the best food on the ship. This could be an industry change, but all “included” meals did not match the quality I’ve experienced on RCC or HAC. Outside of Coco’s, which is phenomenal, I found the desserts to be disappointing, Loved the race track but would never do it more than once. The music/entertainment is outstanding. Especially recommend the Beatles cover band and 4Blue. My biggest disappointments involve the lack of service and personalized attention I have grown accustomed to. Other than the first day, did I ever experience anyone walking around with drink service. Regular restaurant service was poor and the sentiment of staff felt like they were doing us a favor by waiting on us. Several food orders wrong, which I can accept, except recovery also failed. Sat at many tables just waiting to be acknowledged by wait staff or brought coffee or refills. Let’s talk about the unlimited drink package: strange that includes all drinks up to $15.00, but not plain orange juice, water or coffee. Definitely felt like non-drinkers were on the wrong boat. Watch your pours at the bar: I had to take a breathalyzer test due to an accident and it registered 0.00, after 2 mojitos. They tasted good, but what was in them? Line does efficient job with getting on and off the boat, and muster drill was also super efficient - best one yet. Cabin was lovely and space used efficiently. First time on a cruise I had storage space I didn’t use. 11th floor balcony room with double sink. Steward was very good at securing eggcrate mattress topper to add comfort. Overall, the ship is stunning and allows for many places to explore and enjoy. But if you are wanting service and expect folks to assist you, choose another. It’s really ashame as basic training and English lessons could improve the customer experience 10x fold. Read Less

While the observation deck on this ship was wonderful, it is not their best ship. The observation deck was on Deck 15 and very nice. You could lay there in comfortable lounges to read a book, what the views leaving the port or what ever suited you. It was quiet and clean. The entertainment staff on this ship was EXCEPTIONAL! A lot fun, laughter, and friendly people! Cagney's steakhouse had awesome food! The ribeye is the best I have had in a long time. This ship has an adults only pool (no offense to anyone) which I thought was GREAT! The cabins are normal size, we had a balcony, but seemed to have more storage then on other ships. Our room steward was nice and friendly but we had to continually ask for towels. The pool waiters were rude and slow. Some of the staff all over the ship were not very friendly at all. Especially in the Manhattan restaurant. The food was very good, when it was finally served to you. The NCL app is worthless. Worked once the entire 7 day cruise. A lot of passengers had the same issue. The bottle water policy is the worst. They only give you one liter bottles that barely fit in the frig. This ship was totally understaffed. It was a pretty ship but I stil think the best ship is the Getaway. Read Less

Because of the possibility to join a group of solo travelers. Our daily meeting and the accompanying cruise member (Ankica) who helped us participate in different activities. The Studio stateroom and studio lounge made it easy to meet other travelers. I purchased credits at the Cruises Next desk which will be used in the near future I will recommend NCL to my friends. That being said. I would like to point out a few things that I thought could be improved: 1. Being a Karaoke fan, I thought the song selections was OK but limited. It should include more songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s (for the middle age group). I personally own a large selection and brought a list with me to help me find songs to sign but could only find a few. 2. I would have liked to see a Golf simulator. I REALLY enjoyed the Go Cart track. Loads of fun! Read Less

With all of the new things onboard for the guest to use and experience there is no way for anyone to be bored. Then you throw in the shows that their is on board, The Jersey Boys is the best one that I have seen on the ships. There were great and good one on the other ships but this one is hard to beat. The Observation Deck is out of this world. I could have just set in there for the whole cruise. I have not seen a place like it before o a ship and after I found it I spent a lot of time in there just relaxing and reading. I went with a girlfriend and we had a blast. We went on excursions at each island and enjoyed our days on ship taking advantage of the gym, pool and trivia games. Getting on/off the ship does take some time, but it was very well organized. The ship is large and requires a lot of walking, but directions are fairly well labeled. We took advantage of the interactive computers on each floor to find entertainment and dining options. Customer service was helpful for room issues and excursions were easy to schedule at the desk or via TV in the room. Entertainment was top notch! Bands were great, shows were amazing. Beatles tribute band was excellent. Enjoyed the buffet and a few restaurants. Good selection of food, but waited around 10 minutes at the bar for most drinks. The gym was very busy and cramped. Plenty of lounge chairs, bu the pool was very small - super crowded. Overall a great trip. Will be cruising with Norwegian again! Read Less

I am Elite on Princess (40 sailings) but wanted a bit more excitement than they offer and I have frequently sailed on Celebrity. I've sailed on Norwegian (Pearl, Epic, Gateaway and Bliss) four times. I was traveling with a group of 16 and the group wanted a fun-time with a younger environment so we selected the Bliss. I was most excited to sail on the Bliss. The Bliss is a beautiful ship with a wonderful observation area on 15, staterooms are beautiful, disembarkation and embarkation was the best of any cruise. The Bliss is very clean and the staff was wonderful. My stateroom was on deck 14 two floors below deck 16 which is often times referred to as the Lido deck on other ships. I could hear the music starting around 11:00 am and ending around 12:00 or later every evening. Never an opportunity for nap if you are a light sleeper-- music mostly all day and night. I experienced a squeaking/knocking sound coming from the sliding door for better than fours days before I called the Customer Service Desk which they repaid and sent a wonderful gift for any inconvenience this may have caused. I was not able to see any shows due to no open reservation (you have to make a reservation) or partake in the racing cars because they were booked up quickly or only late night appointments were available. The one treat that I love most on all Norwegian cruises is the coconut sherbet. To my disappointment they had no coconut sherbet. The food on the buffet was average although the oxtails and chicken gumbo was outstanding. Seating in what they call the Garden Cafe was a bit of a challenge during lunch and breakfast but you would eventually find a place as on most ships. The Fitness Center was outstanding with wonderful hours. You can get on the treadmill at 6:00 am. With all side I would sail again staying on a lower deck away from deck 16 and making reservation as soon as i get on the ship. Read Less

We just got off the Bliss after a great week in the carribean including great weather. The Bliss proved to be a ship of contrasts. Some things were great and other things not so much. We we in a basic balcony cabin near the back of the ship. Firstly the great things; the ship is new and everything seemed to work well and the ship is quiet (little engine noise and vibration). The food is on average exceptionally good, especially in the buffet. The service is also very good. The water tasted quite good and there is a number of flavoured drinks available all the time, including sugarless ones that were very good. The numerous shows were exceptional (especially Jersey Boys) but need to be booked as early as you can to ensure you will get in on the date and time you want. There are standby spots for people booked who don't show up. While only two sets of elevators for this very long ship, you could always get one quickly as they are new and fast. There is a Starbucks on board and lots of nice comfortable places to sit inside the ship and find a drink or entertainment. Now for the not so good; we could hear voices in the cabin next door pretty regularly. The bathroom is the biggest we have seen on this class of ship but for this you give up closet space. If your cabin has a large couch next to the closet you have to little space between the end of the couch and the closet. There is a couple of cabinets near the tv but only two large drawers under the couch and filled with pillows and extra comforter so maybe you can sqeeze your clothes in them but just maybe! The cabinets on each side of the bed are extremely tiny unless you get one bigger one like our friends did, we got two tiny ones. The adult pool was nice but on sea days we couldn't get near it from all the passengers sitting all around who obviously got the drink package as their free perk. The hot tubs were a better as there are five of them on the upper deck above the pools. There is a kids pool too The race track was neat (and the kids will love the laser tag facility) but does take up so much room that there are few places to find quiet spots to find a lounger unless you splurge for "the haven". We tried two specialty restaurants and Le bistro was great but Cagneys was a disappointment. There are quiet a few other specialty reastaurnts but we didn't try the others. Margaritaville seemed empty most of the time when we went by and may have been due to the cover charge. The casino was spacious but a bit too smokey in the evening for us. Embarkation and debarkation went well for us, and we did have a nice cruise on the Bliss but a few issues meant we couldn't give this ship top marks. Tip. You can't punch a hole in your card for a lanyard as the card will stop working, so bring a lanyard with the plastic casing for your card. Read Less

This is not only my first time on the Norwegian bliss, but also my first time on a cruise ship altogether. Space first I had a balcony room 14222 In the room was better than expected. It was spacious enough to put all of our clothes away and talk away for suitcases. The bathroom what is large enough to get ready with the shower that I had ample room. The food on the bless is amazing both in the buffet and the restaurants. Hi chose the specialty dining package so I had a choice of three specialty restaurants to attend. I went to Teppanyaki’s, oceans blue, and Cagney steakhouse. All three were better than expected but oceans blue room the top. While On the ship we saw both Havana, and jersey boys. Both shows were worth seeing but the Jersey boys was far better than I thought it was going to be Carrie Though the ship was full, we never had to wait for food or drinks for more than a few minutes. Days at sea the pool was busy, but we were always able to find a seat in the water. The only negative thing I would have to say about the bless is the Manhattan room for dinner what is not of the same caliber as the rest of the restaurants on board. That being said the food was still good and the service was not as efficient as the rest of the ship. Overall this was an amazing experience and I have already booked my next cruise with Norwegian and I cannot wait. Read Less

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bars are beyond numerous. Food was excellent except for a few exceptions. Mini Suite is a suite on a cruise ship but bathroom was large with 6 separate shower jets and a double sink, NICE! Just a couple of negatives. Specialty restaurant La Cucina is nothing special, many of food items are available in main dining room, service was very slow here and subpar, disappointing. Fee for Go Carts $99.00 is not worth it at all, explanation given to me was not correct, you got no special privileges and track kept breaking down due to children using the go carts and not knowing how to operate the vehicles, wait time is sometimes in excess of 1 hour. DO NOT BUYTHE GO CART PASS! One of the Broadway Plays, “Jersey Boys” stated no one under 16 yet there were kids 7, 8 and 9 watching the play and playing games on their cellphones, embarrassing and distracting. Elevators tend to get crowded. Make sure you get a reservation for the specialty restaurant “Cagney’s“. Amazing and well worth it. Service was phenomenal here and food was superb, also the Japanese restaurant was well worth it. No reason to sit down for breakfast as the buffet has everything and I mean everything. Just one other complaint I heard was bottled water is not a part of ultimate drink package and it is expensive. Aside from just a few minor details my wife and I really enjoyed our first cruise with NCL. Read Less

I waned to give everyone a quick review of our cruise on the bliss during Thanksgiving week. All in all it was great trip. Lets start with getting on the ship. We took a early flight out of Norfolk and landed in Miami 9:00. After getting our bags (which took forever but that is a different story) we took a taxi to the terminal. We got to the terminal around 10:15 or so and went to check in. Had to wait 15 min in line to go threw security and then to get our keys. We got on to the ship around 11:15 and got in line to do the go carts and lazor tag. Took only 15 min. We went straight to the bar (The local). The service is good and started our cruise. The food at the local was ok not great but still it was great just to relax. Rooms where ready around 2:30 and actually our luggage arrived around 5:00. First night we went to the seafood restaurant for dinner, Great food and great service. We highly recommend this restaurant to eat. On to the casino, very disappointed in the craps table, it was $25 limit. Too high for my blood. It was always 25 limit each evening but did go to $10 limit during the day when it was open. If they are going to have $25 craps they should have another craps table. There is plenty of room. All the speciality restaurants( we tried them all) are very good food and service except for Los Lobos. The service was very poor here as well as the food was not the greatest. Not sure if the food was that bad but the service just made the experience that bad. The entertainment was very good, If I where you I would try it all even going to all the bars try the entertainment in those bars. I have heard a number of people who complained about the elevators on the Bliss, other than the first day we never had any big issues getting on and off. Remember folks there is 4000 people on the ship so don't get to upset if you have to wait 4-5 min. Just to finish this up we very happy with the ship and service, food was much better than expected even in the buffet where we actually had prime rib one evening. I do want to bring one bad experience we had was the one night we had reserved for Thanksgiving night. We reserved a night in the dinning room and according to the Maitre D the next evening they they lost all reservations for the dinning room for that evening. We where not told that when we checked in only it would be an hour before we could be seated. I was not a happy camper. Nobody at the desk could explain what the problem was so we where very disappointed. I did discuss this with the Maaitre D the next day that he should have been in the fire at the desk to explain what the problem was but he was no where to be found. The next night while we where having dinner the Restaurant Manager (Rogeliza Nanad) found us and explained what happened and we had a great 15 min conversation with her. She is top notch and will to help anyone out. We have developed a great relationship with her and this is one of many reason that we Booked the Encore for Thanksgiving as she will be on the ship. If anyone has any questions please put a notice on cruise critic and I will answer all your questions. I hope this helps everyone and sorry if things are a little jumble up. Read Less

We have been on 4 NCL cruises and this time we were lucky to get an upgrade to the Haven. This is the first time I am writing a review,so I will apologize ahead for how long it is. I had read many reviews and tips about the Haven experience and my expectations were pretty high. I am happy to say all my expectations were surpassed, from the time we went through the security line and we were whisked away into the private lounge downstairs, checked in there. We were offered some light refreshments and then taken upstairs to comfy chairs to wait for the ship to be cleared so we can board, oh and offered more light refreshments and drinks. We were a little apprehensive because our friends were not in the Haven and we worried about any issues that could arise from this, but our concierge took all that worry away. We had no problem making dinner, show or speciality dining reservations with our friends and we even were able to have them to dinner one evening in the Haven, which was so much fun. We had seen many pictures of the Haven rooms and facilities but I have to say when you walk through the doors into the Haven it was beautiful, pictures do not do it justice. We had the Penthouse Cortyard room, it was nicely decorated and spacious. My only complaint would be the closet could not close with the hangers with the robes on them because it was not wide enough. But there are 2 closets, so really not an issue. The bathroom was a nice size and had a tub and shower combo. We were on deck 17 so we had the bigger balcony but we didn’t real use it because there were so many places to be outside in the Haven that we didn’t want to spend it on our balcony. We had heard sometimes there are a lot of kids in the pool and some people didn’t like that, but after being in here ..yes there are kids in the pool, but I found them to be very nice and the other reason for this is no kids under 16 are allowed out on the sun deck, so for the younger kids this is the only place for them to be in any water. I love kids so it didn’t bother us at all and there were plenty of places for us adults to go in the Haven if you wanted some quiet time or a hot tub to go in. Most times on the sun deck, my husband and I were the only 2 people in the hot tub or on the sun deck. It was amazing. The Haven bar was fun and the bartender s were great, we had Dhruv and Glen who were awesome. Ask them for the Smoky Old Fashion, it’s amazing. Now onto to the Haven Restaurant, I had read many reviews about this and all I can say is Wow. From the time you walk up the stairs and are greeted by the hostess Li Beth with the biggest smile every day to the MaitreD who always was there for anything you needed no request too small to the food which was incredible. Yes the menu does not change, but each dish was delicious, so we didn’t get tired of the menu. We also had 3 speciality dinners. We went to all the shows on the Bliss,. Jersey Boys was awesome. We really enjoyed Havana, some people didn’t enjoy it because it didn’t have a real story line, but it wasn’t supposed to it was about the dancing /era, we thought it was great. Prohibition was a lot of fun, the drinks were good too. The Beatles show for us was just ok. Go carts were a lot of fun, definitely worth a try. We booked this early in the day before any drinking begun..lol. If you get a chance to go on the Bliss you won’t be disappointed, it’s a beautiful ship . I think the improvements with the Observation lounge and moving the cafe to just below it were really a great idea. The Casino was really big,we didn’t do well there, but did see other people win. Still had fun. My husband liked the Humidor better this time because they stopped people from smoking cigarettes in there, so he said it was better. Read Less

Most fun cruise I had so far this year, Bliss was beautiful and entertainment was a blast. Jackie Tang is the best at keeping us entertained. The Battle of the sexes had me on the flood laughing so hard. The ports were beautiful and the food was delicious. It rained a few hours while at sea but it didn't last for long. The Cabin was always clean and the crews are friendly. The announcements are clear from the bridge and from the cruise director. The guest were friendly and everyone on board was smiling and having a good time, not sure if the good time was due particularly to the Ultimate drinks package, but no obnoxious drunks or drunken events occurred. The ship was not overly crowded with over 4 thousand guest s including 1200 kids but it was all for the thanksgiving week so families are getting away for the holidays and enjoying the 75 degrees weather compared to -20 snow storms that were happening up North.
