Panama Canal Daytime Transit was Overnight

Review for Norwegian Bliss to Panama Canal & Central America

I booked a cabin facing forwards at the front of the ship underneath the captain's bridge to give me the best possible view of the canal. The cabin was quite spacious with plenty of storage space, and perfectly adequate for my needs. Considering the number of passengers embarkation went quite smoothly. I used all the dining areas with the exception of the speciality ones. The self service ...

From the time we step onboard, everything was all in order. There was little chaos on elevators and passages due to people are lost or don’t know what to do or where to go. But the crew was very helpful in all ways possible to help out. The foods are amazingly well organized. The crew made sure that all guests are enjoying each meal. The restaurants are very well maintained and crews ...

Original itinerary was 6-Nights Vancouver-Seattle-Victoria-at sea-San Francisco-at sea-Los Angeles, but we ended up staying in Vancouver for two nights, two days in Victoria, then at sea skipping Seattle-San Francisco-at sea-Los Angeles. If we had known we couldn't even board the ship until after 7:00 pm on the embarkation, and would be staying in Vancouver for two nights, we could have saved ...

An absolutely outstanding cruise! The cabin steward. was very personable, efficient and attentive to maintaining the supplies in the cabin. All of the restaurant staff were very professional and courteous. Le Bistro and Cagney's were similar to dining in a four star restaurant with great service, presentation and quality of the dishes. Taste was especially a good place for breakfast that was ...

Too big for its own good

The Alaskan cruise was always one of my ambitions. This cruise was coupled with a pre-cruise three night stay in Seattle, which we very much enjoyed. I cannot fault the organisation of embarkation and disembarkation - very good considering the number of people involved. The ship staff were always very friendly and helpful and the ship was always spotless. The main downside for me was its sheer ...

A semi amazing anniversary cruise

Short and sweet.... The cruise itself was amazing! The Bliss is an amazing ship and the crew were unbelievable. Dining options are very good and the food is amazing, however good luck getting into the dining venue you want. Even attempting dining reservations months in advance I could not get into Cagney's or Ocean Blue, I called and was told on the ship it would be no problem as they only pre ...

Ridiculous Nickel and Diming

Staterooms were clean but very small in comparison to other ships we've been on. Noise from decks above should not be heard in rooms below in a modern ship. If you book on deck 5, bring your sleeping pills as it will be noisy. Photography is a big miss on NCL's part. Photos taken at dinner are strong-arm sold on the spot and are not available once you leave the restaurant. There are plenty ...

This was our 1st cruise ever. We got so spoiled the staff was above and beyond with there service. Everyone was friendly and the drinks just keep flowing. The ship was amazing like a city of it's own. The specialty restaurants seemed to cater to our very need and the steak place Cagney's was over the top the best steak filet minion i have had in years. The wine selection was over the top and no ...

Giant ship. Generic experience. Limited food options.

Review for Norwegian Bliss to Mexican Riviera

We chose this cruise as we were booking last minute out of LA and had to cruise this week only. The ship, although practically brand new broke down for a few hours in Mazatlan, then after leaving Cabo the next day the smoke stack spit out tar all over everyone on the back bar deck. The food options were in my opinion below par, I chock this up to having 5000 on one boat. The main dining rooms did ...

A ship in a ship makes for crowds

Review for Norwegian Bliss to Caribbean - Eastern

We booked this cruise about 1 year ago, paid a lot for 5 rooms and kept getting invites to bid for upgrades, meanwhile on other lines they typically upgrade at no costs, needless to say we ended up on the 5th floor paying for an ocean view what the balconies costs, that wasn’t the biggest issue if you do not pay even much more to upgrade to the haven which is actually floors that are private that ...
